Erolia's figure streaked across the skies of the Cusk nation, at terrible speeds. Her passage through the regions generated a streak of silver and cerulean light. Mostly cerulean.
They would be arriving at their destination very soon.
According to the words of Elder Adonis, the royals had planned a meeting spot several miles from the city.
At this location would the two groups meet and essentially relate before heading toward the city.
Noah's group had been on that journey for a bit not. About half a day had passed since they left the guild, but they had not flown all through that time.
Unlike him, Erolia didn't possess groundbreaking stamina in terms of exerting herself at full speed for extensive periods.
She could fight at her full power for only hours before her stamina ran out. At most a whole day. This depended on how stressful her opponent was.
Noah could bring her down in mere minutes, but that was because his strength wasn't normal.
Erolia possessed significant explosive power far above the average tier 4. Actually speaking, she remained higher than monsters. But she had clear limits, unlike her master.
In a bid to not have to utilize his own body for running about, Noah asked her to simply move at about half her full speed after she fell tired the first time.
At that speed, she could fly for whole days since she hardly exerted herself too much.
Besides, half her top speed was still an incredible pace. Most tier 4's still couldn't run that fast.
"Master," Erolia spoke at some point, her senses picking up activity ahead.
Noah sensed it, and so did the others. It didn't seem anything dangerous.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Ascend," he commanded and she immediately flew into the sky reaching heights higher than the clouds. Noah momentarily gazed at the space above him.
He wondered if he could leave the planet by simply shooting outside of it. He felt certain it wouldn't be that easy. But he'd try one day.
Erolia flew past the area possessing tier 4 presences. It worried the others seeing as their destination remained only a few miles from that location. About 60 miles or so. That was an easy distance to traverse.
Needless to say, Erolia arrived at the said place, but Noah descended first to scout the area.
He expected the royals to get there in about half a day, but according to Elder Adonis, there was a structure buried beneath the hill.
Finding no reason for worry, Noah ascended to meet them again and those experts flew downward.
Funnily, the others had still accepted Cora and Davis as their sub-leaders, they even voted, and Noah could only leave things as they were.
Davis held the knowledge to revealing the structure. They couldn't bring it up, however, since that would risk giving out their location.
"Do you want to return to your soul space? I don't like that you stay there all the time though," Noah spoke, addressing a still high-up Erolia. The others would call him after they opened the path down.
"It feels weird being amongst them," Erolia admitted. "But that's only because they see me as a beast."
"Then just change," Noah gave her a blank stare and she pouted.
"Why are you hesitant?" He asked.
"I fear I might not be what I remember," Erolia confessed lowering her gaze. The clouds existed below them.
Understanding what she felt, Noah placed his hand on her golden beak. "I'm sure you'll be beautiful. The speed essence was in charge of hatching you after all," he nodded, his tone assuring. In that short time, Erolia had gotten fond of him.
She sighed and Noah stepped back.
Her figure began to glow a bright cerulean, golden and silver light, so much so that Noah could not trace her figure at some point.
The light grew brighter and brighter, but they were too high up in the sky for those below to notice.
A few seconds later the light started to die down, revealing that the giant beast had disappeared. Or rather, transformed.
A small figure, about 5ft4 unfolded in Noah's silver gaze.
He immediately recognized Erolia's human features, even if her beauty had been immensely enhanced.
She still looked 16 or 17, even if she had spent decades existing outside of her physical state.
Her hair color had changed to mimic the different colors she normally emitted.
Three sections of three different colors. Cerulean, golden, and silver. These were now the colors of her hair and they stood out. Her multicolored hair also possessed white tinges at its edges.
A soft glow seeped out of Erolias clothe-less figure. Her fair skin remained divine-like.
She inspected her body without the least bit of shame, and when she raised her head to gaze at Noah's figure, a wide smile bloomed on her face, but also tears.
Her eyes remained cerulean and they shone with unspeakable joy.
She moved before Noah could, and the sheer physical strength her body remained capable of achieving, made her shatter the sound barrier.
She had momentarily forgotten of her tier 4 state, but it didn't matter. She held Noah In a tight embrace and he returned it before gently stroking her silky hair.
Erolia continued to sob in Noah's embrace, a great weight having been lifted from her shoulder.
Her fear of what she would turn out to be had stopped her from utilizing that ingrained ability.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe moment she had woken up as herself she knew how to assume a smaller form.
"I told you you'd turn out beautifully," Noah commented supporting her emotionally.
She nodded even if her head remained buried in his chest.
Soon she raised her head to stare into Noah's silver eyes. They looked divine. She felt grateful.
"You should get something to wear," Noah commented, allowing an attire he had never worn to exit his inventory.
It remained too long for her so he cut away its length. Even and the length of its big sleeves.
Erolia wore the green robe, matching his red one.
"I feel so light," she exclaimed with joy, shooting around many times faster than the speed of sound.
"It's still a bit strange though," she admitted, floating around Noah. She could float freely despite her energy being the speed essence.
"Not having wings will take some time getting used to. And also seeing everything from a shorter point of view..." Her eyes sparkled with excellence as she continued talking.
Something within Noah wished he could enjoy that scene, and the first struggle against his emotionless state occurred, but it wasn't too strong.
"I give myself a few hours though. My arms and legs still feel weird," she giggled focusing on her body.
She continued to talk about her new experience when Pete ascended into the sky only to find a divinely beautiful girl flying around Aiden.
The scene stunned him and he could only stare at the beauty, momentarily forgetting what he wanted to say.
Erolia waved at Pete with a wide smile, happy about her state. Before moving closer to Noah's figure. She still felt safer close to him.
Noah cleared his throat noisily, and Pete snapped out of his daze.
"Ah... I... I apologize. We found the path into the underground structure," the man announced and Noah nodded holding Erolia's hand to descend.
Pete followed closely behind the duo, trying his best to remain calm.
