Yvette tensed up and anxiously tried to get out of Jeremiah's arms. "I'm already married." Her eyes were filled with panic, and he could tell how much she was resisting him. His heart skipped a beat, and he only pulled his hands back after a long while. There was a lonely look in his eyes. "Then, can we still be friends in the future?"
