Aaron only smiled and said nothing. Yvette was indeed kind. He would've still been a nobody if it hadn't been for
her encouragement and song. After dismissing Joel, Aaron eagerly sought out his father, John Miller, to ask about
Yara's falsified brain cancer diagnosis.
John informed him that he'd found her medical records through sconnections. It turned out that it wasn't
even hers to begin with.
"That's great! Send these pieces of evidence to me," Aaron said.
"Sure, but when are you gettinga daughter-in-law?" John asked.
Aaron instantly lost his enthusiasm.
His mother, Claire Anderson, smiled as she brought out dishes to the dining table. "Many people online want to
marry Ronny, yet he hasn't even brought back a single girlfriend." John sighed.
"Celebrities can't date, Mom," Aaron said while chuckling.
His parents couldn't do anything about him, so they stopped pushing him about it. John eventually sent the
pieces of evidence to him.
Aaron sent them to Yvette on the snight. She thanked him continuously after receiving them.
"Don't just thank me. You have to treatto a meal," he said.

Yvette replied, "Sure. Can | treat you tomorrow then?"
Aaron said, "Of course you can!"
Yvette ended the call with a smile. Beside her, Xavier felt perplexed. Who had made her so happy with just a
call?
"Was that Kiki?" he asked.
"It's not. It's a friend." After that, Yvette informed Noah, "I'll be heading out to do something tomorrow, Noah.
Can you stay hand not go out?"
Noah replied, "Okay."
Yvette went to bed after sending the pieces of evidence to Matthew. But Xavier had strouble sleeping.
He had vaguely made out that the person who'd called Yvette wasn't a woman. However, he couldn't investigate
further since he knew that she would be upset if she found out.
Early the next morning, Yvette headed out, with Ray driving her.
Meanwhile, Xavier was absent-minded as he went to work. "Did you get someone to tail them?" he asked.
"Our men couldn't tail them since Ray was driving," Mark replied helplessly.
He wasn't sure where exactly Yvette had found Ray. The latter was incredibly skilled. Up until now, ordinary
bodyguards had turned out to be no match for him.
"Do you know where they went?" Xavier asked again.
Mark answered, "I think they're heading to Maplewood Lane."
Xavier then got up, with Mark hurriedly following after him.
Aaron arrived early in the private
room of a restaurant on Maplewood Lane. He then took out his
sunglasses and face mask. He had already ordered many of Yvette's favorite dishes. en
His eyes were bright when he finally saw her coming over. He waved at her and greeted, "Hello, Yvvy!"
Aaron had always been a bright and handsboy in Yvette's memory. But he was now a shade tanner after not
seeing him for a couple years.
He was dressed lightly despite it being winter, and overall he looked even more built and mature compared to a
few years ago.
Yvette handed him the song as soon as she sat down.
"So soon?" Aaron was incredulous. He wondered what was on her mind that she'd been able to compose a song
so quickly.

"It's still a draft at the moment. You can sing it through, and I'll make adjustments if anything is off," Yvette
explained.
"Whatever you composed would
surely be fine," Aaron said, setting
the music sheets aside. "You could actually sing it for yourself, Yvvy. You have such a beautiful voice."

Yvette unconsciously clenched her

fist upon hearing his words. It wasn't that she couldn't sing, but her compromised hearing was fatal for a
professional singer.
Aaron belatedly realized his slip of tongue. "Oh dear, what was | talking about now—"
Yvette replied, "It's fine. Let's eat."
"Okay."
As they ate, Aaron asked for updates on Yvette's life as of late.
