Chapter 108 Falling Deeper In Love

Julian looked at Annalise tenderly and replied, “Okay.”

After that small misunderstanding, their relationship seemed to have evolved. They had become truly connected.

After finishing their lunch, Julian asked Annalise if she was tired.

Annalise shook her head. “I’m not.”

She suddenly felt energetic. After confessing her feelings, her mind felt like it was in a completely different state

than before.

In the past, she was a little shy. She was hesitant and conflicted. Now, she had happily accepted her feelings and

looked forward to their relationship. She hoped to have a future with Julian.

“Shall we go on a speedboat?” Julian suggested.

“Sure!” Annalise’s eyes lit up.

Julian was very observant. He did not miss the excitement in Annalise’s eyes. He held her hand and said, “Let’s go,

then.”

From the sky restaurant, one could see the sea in the distance. While it seemed very close, it still took 40 minutes to

drive there, and that was considered relatively fast.

When they reached the speedboat and jet-ski area, Julian asked Annalise, “Should we go on the jet ski or the

speedboat?”

“I want the speedboat,” Annalise answered eagerly.

Although she was really capable and liked to experience all kinds of exciting things, she never had the chance to

participate in many sports.

“Okay,” Julian replied gently. He took the life jacket from the staff and put it on Annalise.

“TIl do it myself,” Annalise said.

“TII help you.” Julian was extremely gentle.

Just looking at his gentle movements made Annalise’s heart beat faster. She said softly, “I really wish we could stay

like this forever.”

Julian was tying the rope around Annalise’s life jacket, with his head lowered. When he heard her words, he looked

up at her and smiled. “No, we will be better than we are now. Because we’ll be much closer, and we’ll have children

in the future, too.”

Annalise suddenly blushed.

Julian looked at her blushing face and fell for her even harder.

He fastened her life jacket and stroked her face. “Let’s go.”

Annalise saw that someone seemed to be secretly taking photos of them. Gently, she poked Julian and pouted in

that direction.

“Don’t worry. I’ll arrange for someone to take it down,” Julian said.

Annalise reached out to hold Julian’s hand. She said, “Actually, there’s no need. If there’s news, more people will

know about us. Just treat it as free publicity. I’m thinking that since someone else is taking pictures of us, why don’t

we take some pictures ourselves? The more popular it gets, the better it will be for our sales. No matter what, we

can still do whatever we want.”

“Aren’t you a smart one?” Julian reached out and pinched Annalise’s face dotingly.

Her skin was youthful. Although she was very thin, there was still baby fat on her face. She looked really lovely.

Annalise chuckled.

Julian took out his phone and sent a message. He arranged for the photographer to follow them for the day. Either

way, they would do their own thing, and the photographer would do his.

After making the necessary arrangement, they went on the speedboat.

At first, Annalise did not know how to ride one. Patiently, Julian explained how to ride and control it.

After Julian took Annalise around for a lap, she started doing it by herself. At first, it was a little slow, but after only

half a lap, she grew familiar with it and drove the speedboat at higher speed.

However, upon seeing that they were about to collide with another speedboat, Julian was so terrified that his

expression changed. His pupils constricted. He was prepared to carry her and jump into the water to prevent her

from hitting the control panel and hurting herself.

However, just as he was about to wrap his arm around her waist, she turned sideways and gripped the controls

tightly with both hands. She steered their speedboat and brushed past the oncoming speedboat. There was even

the sound of friction along the hull.

“Phew, that was close!” Annalise let out a shaky breath, still feeling frightened.

Julian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

He had almost peed his pants.

He realized that she was his weakness.

If he had been by himself, he had nothing to fear. Whether it was a head-on collision or a dive, he would not have

panicked.

But he was afraid that she would be hurt. His heart was in his mouth just now.

He let out a long sigh of relief and hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

“Did I scare you?” Annalise asked softly.

“Yes,” Julian replied.

Annalise said, “I wasn’t very familiar with the controls just now. Something bad almost happened. But I’ll be fine

after practicing more.”

“Okay,” Julian replied again and said gently, “Let’s slow down. Let’s take it slow.”

“Okay.” Annalise agreed.

But not long after, she went faster and faster, as if she was unstoppable.

Julian reminded her softly, “Let’s slow down.”

Annalise gradually slowed down.

After doing a few more laps, she was completely familiar with it. She wanted to do two more laps by herself, but

Julian refused. “No, I have to be with you.”

He realized that deep inside, she had a wild spirit. If he had not reminded her, she would have sped up. It would

have felt like they were soaring across thousands of miles, flying through the skies.

“Alright.” Annalise smiled helplessly. She had just wanted to truly let go for a moment, but now she had someone

who cared about her.

They played around for more than two hours. Annalise was completely drenched, either from the sea or from

sweat.

She was so excited that her face was flushed.

They did not know if the photographer had been following them or not. They were only immersed in the fun,

playing around on the speedboat.

“Hurry up and change your clothes. Don’t catch a cold,” Julian said.

Annalise saw that she was soaked through and remembered that she did not bring any change.

Julian smiled. “I got someone to arrange that.”

He held her hand and sent her to the female guest area. At the door, someone respectfully handed her the clothes

“Hello, Madam. Sir asked me to prepare these clothes for you.”

“Thank you!” Annalise immediately took the clothes. She went in to shower and change.

Julian was done very quickly. Then, he came to the entrance of the female guest area and waited for Annalise.

As soon as Annalise came out, Julian took her hand, hugged her, and kissed her face.

Annalise smiled, her eyes curving into crescents.

The photographer happened to capture this moment and was very pleased with himself.

The other photographer also happened to capture this scene.

Soon, Alexander received the photo.

He looked at the photo and narrowed his eyes. “They’re still being lovey-dovey?”

Suddenly, he looked up at Abigail. “Did you send that photo to Annalise?”

“Yeah, I did. Look!” Abigail immediately showed Alexander her text messages.

Alexander narrowed his eyes. The message was sent through. Logically speaking, Annalise should have seen the

photo.

Was she not suspicious when she saw it?

Abigail immediately saw the photo on Alexander’s phone. She was furious. She and Alexander were together only in

name, but Annalise and Julian were actually in love. She was the one who was supposed to marry Julian!

The more Abigail thought about it, the more upset she felt. She said disdainfully, “She’s latched onto Julian. Even if

Lianne came between them, nothing would change that now.”
