Chapter 177 The Medical Conference Begins

In the blink of an eye, the day of the Medical Conference arrived.

The Medical Conference was held in Jadeborough’s largest exhibition hall.

It was an exchange and collision between traditional and modern medicine.

Although it was called an exchange, it was actually a debate between practitioners of traditional medicine and

modern medicine.

Though, it would also be inappropriate to call it a debate.

That was because apart from the debate between traditional and modern medicine, the organizers had also

specially recruited several patients with difficult conditions from various hospitals for practitioners of traditional and

modern medicine to treat on-site.

She thought, “My name isn’t worthy of being announced? Trash. I’m an international surgeon, okay? I hold the title

of Second International Surgeon, okay?”

“The person walking in now is the famous Professor Woods Woods Welcome!” The host was very excited to mention

Jonathan’s name. He even used the adjective “famous”

Gwen rolled her eyes again as she thought, “Famous my ass. Who would know him if his mentor wasn’t Joseph

Quigley?”

She immediately looked behind Jonathan, but she did not see Annalise come with him. She was really disappointed.

Then, she curled her lips in disdain. “Heh, coward. You don’t even have the guts to come and participate in

the Medical Conference.”

Jane chimed in, “Maybe it’s not that she doesn’t have the guts, but she doesn’t have the qualifications. After all, she

doesn’t even have a medical license.”

“Pfft, haha.” Gwen could not help but burst out laughing. She said, “How unfortunate.”

Then, Abigail walked in.

Jane immediately greeted, “Abbie, over here.”

Jane introduced Abigail and Gwen. The two of them were a little distant at first, but Gwen immediately became

chummier with Abigail when Jane scolded Annalise and Abigail followed suit.

Soon, Jessy Parks also arrived.

Suddenly, she saw the admission pass hanging in front of Annalise. Only the medical staff who were going to

participate in the exchange would have one.

“She came in as a doctor,” she said.

Everyone followed her gaze and saw the admission pass hanging around Annalise’s neck.

“Pfft!” Jane burst out laughing. “She almost stabbed Old Madam Zeller to death, yet she still has the cheek to

participate in such a grand event?”

“Stabbed Old Madam Zeller to death? What’s going on? Tell me quickly.” Abigail seemed to have heard some great

gossip and immediately asked Jane to tell her the full story.

She had been helping Alexander with trips to the supermarkets and wholesale markets that sold clothes for the past

few days seeking their partnership. She was exhausted.

Jane told Abigail about how Annalise had treated Madam Zeller’s condition. She also exaggerated how shocking the

scene was, telling her that Madam Zeller had vomited blood from Annalise’s acupuncture. She must have vomited

at least a dozen mouthfuls of blood, enough to fill a basin and dying the blanket completely red.

Later on, Madam Zeller’s body convulsed as if she had epilepsy. Her body kept twitching, and then her facial

features began to contort. Her hands and feet were all twisted together, and her body curled up into a ball. Jane

even reached out to rub her face. She tilted his mouth exaggeratedly and said, “Madam Zeller’s

condition at that time was much more exaggerated than what I’m showing you now. I really can’t describe it. Think
