Preston pounced over anxiously and pulled the blanket over Mina. Mina felt even hotter and aggrieved all at once.

“So hot!” she complained. “All right, I got it. Just cover yourself up a little. Please don’t kick off the blanket and don’t

remove your clothes.” Preston pulled the blanket down to Mina’s shoulders, all the while trying to hide his blushing

face and racing heartbeat. “So hot!” Mina protested and lifted the blanket yet again. Preston was at a loss for

words. Was he privileged enough to see her this way? When did she remove her clothes, leaving only her

underwear? Preston was a man, after all. His head was suddenly filled with images that should not have appeared.

“Phew!” He exhaled loudly and said, “Stop fooling around, Mina. Drink some water.” Mina opened and closed her

mouth without uttering another word. Her mind was fuzzy, but she could hear Preston’s voice. She tried to get up to

drink some water as told. Preston glanced at Mina’s drowsy look and sat on the bed helplessly. Then he helped her

up to drink water as she leaned against him for support. Mina could not drink if she lay on her back in bed. Mina

leaned into Preston’s arms. Her head was still heavy and swayed from side to side. Preston was worried that Mina

would sprain her neck that way. He immediately held her head in his arms while feeding water to her. Mina was

really thirsty; she gulped down a few mouthfuls. However, due to the discomfort in her stomach and drinking water

too hurriedly, she suddenly started to throw up again. Before Preston could react, Mina vomited all over the bed.

Preston was caught by surprise; he was speechless. He immediately handed a tissue paper to Mina to wipe her

to his bedroom. He put her on his bed and tucked her in with a blanket. Then he stood by the bed to observe Mina’s

condition. She probably felt better after throwing up and fell asleep quietly again. Preston immediately went to the

guest room to retrieve the clothes that Mina had removed earlier. He could feel his heart racing when he picked up

her clothes. Mina was apparently good at torturing others. She kicked the blanket off again and lay on top of it.

Preston rushed over immediately and tucked her under the blanket again. He then folded her clothes and placed

them neatly on the bedside table before lying on the sofa to rest. After a while, Preston was mindful of Mina,

worried she would kick off the blanket again. He quickly got up to check on her. He breathed a sigh of relief when

he saw Mina sleeping soundly. He finally managed to close his eyes to rest. He was so tired that he fell asleep after

a moment. Time had hardly passed when Preston suddenly heard a loud shriek. “What’s wrong?” Preston jumped

up from the sofa instinctively. Then he realized it was already morning. “Boohoo!” Mina sat on the bed, wrapped

herself in the blanket, and cried helplessly. “What’s wrong, Mina? Are you feeling unwell? Do you feel like throwing

up?” Preston asked with concern. “Boohoo! You’re too much, Preston Blake!” Mina stared at him and exclaimed.

Her eyes were red; she was furious. She thought Preston had taken advantage of her when she was drunk. He was

such an animal! “What’s wrong with me?” Preston was confused. It suddenly dawned on him that Mina might have

misunderstood the whole situation. He explained immediately, “Listen to me, Mina. You were drunk last night.” Mina

became even angrier and felt aggrieved. She glared at Preston with reddened eyes. “Yes, I was drunk, so you took

advantage of me. I trusted you so much and treated you as a good friend.” Mina was infuriated and did not hide it.

Sensing that the young woman before him felt aggrieved and angry, Preston continued to explain, “I didn’t take

advantage of you whatsoever.” “How dare you deny? Did I remove my clothes on my own?” “Yes, you did,” Preston

said, “You were drunk last night and didn’t eat much. Are you feeling better now? I’ll get someone to prepare

Blake’s smiling eyes and blushed even more. She immediately said, “Madam Blake, uh, I have something urgent to

attend to. I won’t stay for breakfast. Goodbye.” She rushed out of the house and did not even care that she wore

slippers. Preston was dumbfounded when he saw what happened.
