Chapter 84 Jonathan Woods Approves Julian

“I like it!” Julian was still smiling at Annalise.

How could he not like it when she even bought him something close-fitting like socks?

“As long as you like it,” Annalise immediately said.

For some reason, she felt flirtatious when she saw his smile.

Then her heart would race and her cheeks would burn.

She immediately went to pay and stuffed the handbag into Julian’s hands. “Here, it’s for you.”

Julian took the bag and blocked Annalise’s way out.

“Huh? What’s wrong?” Annalise could not help but ask.

Although they had not known each other for long, she knew some of his habits. Everything there was something he

wanted to say, he would block her way.

“There are still things that we need to buy,” Julian said.

“Huh? What else do we need to buy?” Annalise was dumbfounded.

“I have a shirt, a jacket, and socks. I just need one more thing,” Julian reminded her.

“A belt? I think your belt looks pretty good.” Annalise subconsciously glanced at Julian’s waist.

When she looked away, she raised her head slightly and met Julian’s smiling eyes.

She flushed with embarrassment. She did not look around in the wrong places. She just looked at his belt. She

quickly said, “Then, let me help you pick a belt.”

“I’m not talking about a belt.” Julian smiled at Annalise.

Because he was moved, his voice was a little hoarse.

Annalise looked at Julian in surprise.

Her dark and bright eyes, pure and clear gaze, inquisitive expression, and exquisite facial features made Julian want

to sink into every aspect.

He leaned forward and whispered in her ear, “It’s to be worn inside.”

Annalise’s face flushed red. She was so embarrassed that she wanted to bury herself in the ground.

The clothes inside… How could she buy them for him?

She immediately said, “John is about to land. Let’s go pick him up.”

She rushed out of the store with her face flushed.

Julian looked at Annalise’s red ears from behind. His lips curled into a beautiful smile. She looked good when she

was shy.

On the way to the airport, Julian asked about Jonathan Woods’ preferences, what dishes he liked to eat, and if he

had any food taboos.

Annalise told Julian whatever she thought of, though she did not expect him to remember it at all.

Not long after they arrived at the airport, they saw a man walking out wearing sunglasses and pulling his

suitcase.

The man was wearing a Paul Frank T-shirt and looked very fashionable.

“John, over here.” Annalise immediately ran over.

Julian was a little stunned.

He had specially asked for Jonathan’s age. Annalise said that he was 51 years old that year. Hence the mental

image he had of Jonathan was a greasy middle-aged man.

However, the person in front of him looked well-proportioned and was at most 40 years old. How could he be 51

years old?

Jonathan reached out to pat Annalise’s head and handed the suitcase to her.

Julian was very resistant and uncomfortable about Jonathan touching Annalise’s head. However, when he saw

Jonathan let go immediately, he tried his best not to think about it.

He immediately went over to take the luggage and greeted, “Hello, I’m Annie’s husband, Julian Parks!”

“Hello, I’m Anna’s senior, lan Lawrence. Although we’re not related by blood, I’m closer to her than she is to her

biological brother,” Jonathan said.

Julian passed the first round of Jonathan’s Assessment.

He had deliberately given the suitcase to Anna to see if the well-pampered Mr. Parks would help hold the suitcase.

He would not approve of a man who wouldn’t help women move heavy things, carry backpacks, or take the

initiative to hold children, no matter how high the man’s status was.

“Hello,” Julian greeted him.

Then, he said, “I heard from Annie that you don’t want to reveal your identity. Then before you do, we will just

address you as ‘Brother”.”

“Sure,” Jonathan replied.

“This Mr. Parks has some good ideas,” he thought.

“Brother, please get in the car!” Julian pulled the suitcase with one hand and held Annalise with the other. They

walked to the black Rolls-Royce.

Jonathan got into the car without hesitation. The chauffeur placed the suitcase in the trunk, and Julian helped

Annalise into the car.

After getting into the car, Julian took out the gift and gave it to Jonathan, “Brother, it’s our first time meeting. It is

just a small gift. Please accept it.”

“Thank you!” Jonathan accepted it happily.

He wanted to see what gift Julian had given him and whether he was being stingy.

Money was a scale that could weigh all things.

With Julian’s current status, if the gift he bought for Jonathan was only in the tens of thousands of dollars range, he

most likely looked down on Anna.

Jonathan opened the packaging and saw the watch inside.

Although there was no receipt, he could tell its value at a glance. It was something worth a few hundred thousand

dollars.

He looked at Julian again and saw that he was still holding Annalise’s hand.

He said in satisfaction, “Thank you!”

“Brother, you are probably tired from the journey, have some rest first,” Julian said.

“Okay.” Jonathan leaned into the seat and closed his eyes to rest.

He then opened his eyes slightly and secretly observed Julian’s expression.

He wanted to see if Julian was angry or not.

He had deliberately acted rudely and handed the suitcase to Annalise unreasonably. Moreover, he did not bring any

gifts for them and even accepted Julian’s gifts without hesitation.

Yet, he saw that Julian’s expression was calm without any displeasure. Moreover, he was still playing with Anna’s

fingers.

That action was so similar to when Jonathan pursued his wife back then!

How did they achieve national unity on such a thing?

Thinking of that, Jonathan smiled.

Annalise and Julian were a perfect match.

Julian discovered a treasure by marrying a genius Annalise.

“What are you laughing at?” Annalise asked curiously.

‘Call me brother,” Jonathan said.

*Brother.”

“I’m laughing because your sister-in-law didn’t prepare anything for my return. She only packed two childish T-shirts

for me.”

“They are not childish. Sister-in-law has good taste.”

“That’s right. If she doesn’t have good taste, why would she like me?”

“Narcissist.”

“Haha.”

Jonathan and Annalise both laughed.

Jonathan suddenly sat up and looked at Annalise. He frowned and said, “You gained a bit of weight. Give me your

hand.”

As he spoke, he took Anna’s pulse without any explanation.

Annalise was speechless!

There was nothing between her and Julian. How could she be pregnant? Jonathan was being a busybody Julian could

not help but stare at Jonathan’s hand when he saw him taking Annalise’s pulse. It was as if Julian was supervising

him to only take Annalise’s pulse and not do anything else.

Julian did not want to behave that way either. He also told himself that Jonathan was Annalise’s senior, but he just

couldn’t control himself.

Jonathan finished taking her pulse and saw Julian’s guarded expression. He wanted to laugh again.

Heaven’s favored Julian Parks was jealous. Haha, his little Anna was indeed the most charming!

A man’s love had to be possessive.

He was getting more and more optimistic about the two of them.
