When Rachel saw Rhette out, her worry that Hera might leave immediately vanished. Her job was to wait for Hera and bring

her to Rhett. If Hera had left, it would have been on her. But now that Rhett hade out and seen Hera, her job was done.

He had to maintain a certain image as the CEO of Killian Corporation, so there were things he couldn't personally do and had to

delegate to his secretary. Rachel usually understood his intentions and carried out tasks to his liking.

So even though he was aware she had been making things difficult for Hera, he turned a blind eye to it.

"Don't you want to know more about her?" Rhett asked. He was referring to Daphne.

Hera paused. This was the reason why she was here, but she couldn't appear too eager. In the past, every tshe discovered new

leads, her impatience led her into traps.

And since she was dealing with the Killians, she needed to be even more cautious. If she appeared too eager, she would end up in

a bad position. She needed to play hard to get.
