It was early in the morning when Dilan left the supermarket.
His Featherlight backpack was filled with Silver Essence crystals, and he carried a large container in each hand.
There were several Mana Fog Slimes in the containers, which Dilan had simply squeezed inside them until there was no room left for more.
This took him quite a while but he was quite optimistic about the potency and high utility of these monsters!
In exchange for enough food, the Slimes would create mist intertwined with pure mana.
By providing the slimes a new home to live in and enough food, Dilan could create a new environment that could benefit the Slimes in terms of ‘safety’, while his people would have an easier time learning more about mana. It would be a perfectly symbiotic association between the slimes and humans.
The mana-rich air in the supermarket was already quite helpful and provided numerous insights to Dilan.
That was one reason for him to be so eager to test out if it would make sense to migrate them to a ward in the hospital!
If that were to be the case, he could learn more while staying inside the hospital as well.
After all, Dilan was not really confident at controlling mana with precision, yet!
If others were to hear this, they would probably feel like punching him in the stomach because most people were struggling at just trying to sense mana, to begin with!-.
However, Dilan’s standards were already much higher than those people.
His future goals were much higher than that of most other humans, otherwise, he wouldn’t have worked relentlessly on amassing enough essence to fill the progression bar of Kirak’s Vassal, the unknown graded ancient path of advancement, which Dilan could finally choose!
[The progression bar of <Kirak’s Vassal> has been filled. Will you accept <Kirak’s Vassal> as your occupation?]
[Yes?/No?]
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFor now, Dilan decided to postpone advancing to Tier-1 with Kirak’s Vassal. He was currently in the middle of the street on his way back to the Rian mountainside hospital.
Advancing to Tier-1 in the middle of the street was stupid to put it simply. Even if Dilan could not be certain about this, he predicted that he would undergo a few changes after advancing to Tier-1.
There was no reason for him to think so but his gut feeling and the fact that real life and games were different made him exercise patience.
In games, picking an occupation would reward special abilities that were directly related to the ability one chooses, additional status points, and so on.
However in reality, the restrictions of a Tierless existence would be lifted and raised to the limit of a Tier-1 existence. That means his body was likely to undergo some changes.
Dilan didn’t want to unnecessarily burden his body right now, out in the open, which was why he postponed advancing to Tier-1 for a few minutes.
It didn’t take long before he reached the hospital. Dilan entered the cafeteria after a few minutes, where he saw Bianne and a few of her helping hands.
Quite a few Survivors had chosen to support Bianne. It provided them with enough food, and they didn’t have to fight.
As such, it was best for those who weren’t suitable for other non-combat occupations to become others’ assistants.
But that was, of course, only the case if they didn’t want to fight as it was possible to procure abilities while fighting as well.
The [Thunder Step] ability was the best example of this as Dilan received it from a monster he had killed.
Smiling faintly when she saw Dilan, Bianne brought over a plate of food. The plate was filled to the brim, and Dilan nodded thankfully.
No words were needed between the two of them. Both were working hard in their own way, which they could understand and respect.
Because Dilan had been awake for almost 24 hours, and fighting for almost half a day, Bianne didn’t want to bother him, even less because his body and expressions showed clear signs of being deadly-tired.
His exhaustion was also the reason for him to leave the cafeteria without a word after he brought the empty plate back to the kitchen.
He disappeared wearing his backpack that made tinkering sounds, along with two large containers in his hand.
Dilan reached the large room that belonged to him only a few minutes later.
His steps were slow, and he didn’t even recall whether he met someone other than Bianne, let alone how early in the morning it was.
Moments after he reached his room, Dilan could barely put aside his backpack that contained dozens of Silver Essence crystals, and the containers with tightly closed lids.
Dilan could barely keep his eyes open after he fell on the bed. But, he wanted to advance to Tier-1 while he rested and was asleep.
This should be for the best, which was why he accepted advancing to Tier-1 picking Kirak’s Vassal as his final occupation!
[Once an occupation has been chosen, the decision is binding and cannot be reversed!!]
[Are you sure to pick the ‘Unknown’ grade occupation <Kirak’s Vassal>?]
[Yes?/No?]
Dilan didn’t even read the message properly. He had long since accepted that picking an Unknown graded occupation might as well be a double-edged sword.
That was also the reason for him to be unbothered by the messages he received as he simply chose [Yes!]
Only a moment later, Dilan’s eyes closed instinctively as he entered a deep slumber.
What Dilan didn’t notice was that something shocking occurred the moment he accepted Kirak’s Vassal as his ancient path of advancement to become a Tier-1 existence.
The moment he accepted Kirak’s Vassal, a message about every single existence on Milarn, and realms that were not supposed to exist according to all kinds of logical explanations, and beliefs rang through his mind.
[Divine Inheritance descended! Infant Planet formerly called ‘Milarn’ receives <Universe’s Faith>! The Priyards attention has been garnered.]
This notification reached not only the human survivors that lived on Milarn but also the monsters that gained intelligence and had emerged on Milarn.
Numerous existences were simply stunned by the notification they received from the Log of the Ancient that was backed by the Primordial Ascension.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmEven though most of the beings were incapable of understanding what it could possibly mean, everyone knew that a single notification spreading through different worlds and realms was no less than a shocking scenario.
It didn’t even matter if one couldn’t understand the value of a Divine Inheritance, what the Universe’s Faith meant, or who exactly the Priyards were.
For now, it was more than enough to understand that there was no know evidence of such a singular occurrence having unfolded itself as the one they had received just now!
Only some existences, who had witnessed the birth and downfall of new races, planets, and even galaxies, knew the true meaning behind every single word stated in the notification, followed by the severity of the notification that reached every single being connected to the Primordial Ascension System!
“Infant Planet…”
A sonorous voice resounded within a white huge hall that spanned several kilometers. The voice hadn’t been loud, but every single existence present was able to hear the woman, who had just spoken.
“It looks like a mortal has chosen a Path that even Immortals are not willing to take by choice…”
Suddenly, a faint laugh escaped the woman’s mouth, gaining the interest of the beings that had hurriedly come over the moment they received the notification.
The situation was serious, and everyone was tense, which resulted in them frowning when the women laughed.
But frowning was the only reaction they dared to show to the woman, who had slowly calmed down.
“Is it finally time?”
Her hands were itching, and her mind was running wild. After all, she had the weird feeling that something big was about to happen in the near future!
Looking at the onyx table in front of her, she saw her reflection in the polished black table just to smile vibrantly as she looked up.
Her gaze trailed along the length of the onyx table, whose length spanned through the entire hall, just for her to perceive every single existence she could proudly call her possession.
The irises of the woman switched from one color to another for several seconds. The changes were rapid and hard to follow but slowly it slowed down and stopped at rainbow-colored irises that stared in the depth of the souls of the beings in front of her.
The rainbow-colored eyes gleamed brightly as an excited expression appeared on her face just for the woman to lick her lips in a seductive manner, which caused everyone to stiffen because they were fully aware of the terror these eyes had already caused.
“Shall we take a look at my new toy?”
