Holding Arnes Cier by his hair, Dilan lifted him like a ragdoll. The tall President's feet were barely millimeters away from the ground.
Dilan held his hair tightly and he used his Green Magic to slowly ascend higher into the air.
The monsters all around them stepped back of their own volition, knowing deep down that they would be obliterated the moment they were to bother Dilan in the slightest.
The bloodlust that radiated from Dilan was more than enough to show everyone that they had to think a hundred times before even thinking of messing with him.
Dilan pulled his left arm back and he dealt a straight punch. His fist dug deep into his father's stomach, causing Arnes to spit out more blood.
The sight was satisfying and Dilan continued to punch his father black and blue. His expression was overflowing with genuine happiness and ecstasy that not even the most prized treasure could give him.
However, Dilan was currently living the dream he had wished for all his life, the dream of being able to beat his father into a pulp and end his life with his very own hands.
It was exciting and it felt like all his luck was being used up to give him the present he had been wishing for over a decade.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe felt pure bliss, and he released all the accumulated anger, wrath, and frustration that had been accumulated inside him. If he had always been holding back before, Dilan was finally able to do whatever he wanted when it came to his father.
There was not a trace of mana left in his father's body, and there was no output for his light and darkness marks either. Even if there was, Arnes Cier didn't have even an ounce of mana stored in the marks, either way.
Dilan might have also suffered a little bit and had a hard time surviving the terrifying attacks initiated by his father, but that was something he had accepted readily. As long as he could get his sweet revenge, Dilan would be more than fine with an avalanche of pain.
Pain showed him quite clearly that he was still alive and kicking. It made sure that he would stay sane and down to earth, discipline him and tell him when it was time to let loose and go all out.
His strength increased exponentially the more pain he felt which was advantageous as the weaker he grew, the stronger Dilan would be owing to the pain. This was how it had been since the Primordial Ascension had occurred, and Dilan was happily embracing this fact.
He was happy to have chosen the only Divine occupation of this generation's Primordial Ascension, and it was a blessing that the Divine Occupation had chosen him as its suitable vessel.
The moment he awoke [Regeneration] as his Origin ability, Dilan's fate changed and he enjoyed every moment of the life that followed the Primordial Ascension.
For others, the Primordial Ascension might have been the beginning of the end, doom itself, or the start of something even more terrifying than doom, but for Dilan, it was just the start of something great, a new beginning.
It was almost as if his life had restarted with a blank slate…or so he thought before he realized that the shadows of his life before the Primordial Ascension were still hunting him.
His father had to be ended, in the cruelest possible way, to make sure that he could clean his slate once again.
And with that in mind, Dilan kept punching his father relentlessly. Dilan's fist was smeared in blood and bits of flesh but he was not yet done. He continued assaulting his father and broke every single rib in his father's rib cage, he cracked his jaw, broke his nose, cracked his skull several times, tore apart his father's ears…and he was just getting started!
Dilan stared mercilessly at the miserable figure of the once handsome President of the Arikan continent.
The world would not have a President on Arikan anymore from this day onward, but that was of no concern for Dilan. He was just paying attention to his father's pitiful appearance.
His father tried to speak but he had no mouth to do that so all he could do was groan and whimper in terror and desperation. He clearly understood that Dilan was stronger and that his very own son showed no remorse or the slightest bit of hesitation in torturing him.
This became even clearer when Dilan started to cut out his father's skin. As if he was carving a pumpkin, he removed the light and darkness marks from his father's shoulder, neck, and chest, using the Blessed Blade.
Both the light and darkness marks were extremely resilient and Dilan was required to pierce deep inside his father's flesh to cut out his marks. Inch by inch he carved out the skin and flesh bearing the marks without mercy, and he enjoyed his father's screams of pain whenever he pierced his flesh.
There was no need to use any narcotics to put his father to sleep because he was supposed to feel every single bit of pain that was inflicted upon him.
Arnes Cier was supposed to feel the same pain he had caused to thousands, if not tens of thousands of people even before the Primordial Ascension.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmDilan didn't actually know how many innocent humans his father had tortured before the Primordial Ascension, but the things he had seen in the hidden room had been more than enough to make him feel utter disgust and annoyance for letting him stay alive for so long.
He had started to hate the blood that coursed through his veins even though he knew that it was not actually his fault. Only now was it possible for him to truly accept that being of the same blood didn't mean anything.
His sisters also had the same blood as their father, but they were kind and filled with a sense of justice. Their love knew no bounds, and they even accepted that he wanted to kill their father.
He knew that they didn't like murder but even then they didn't say anything to Dilan. They understood his intention, and that he did everything to make sure that they would never be hurt ever again.
Dilan may want revenge for himself, and he would love to continue torture his father because of all the things that piece of trash had done to him in the past, but the biggest reason for him to end up collecting the courage to face and kill his father was that he never wanted something to happen to his sisters again.
By wiping out their father from existence, Dilan made sure that his sisters would have one less threat to think about. The Primordial Ascension was not yet over, but the biggest threat was about to get removed.
However, Dilan was not actually sure what to do in order to make sure that their father would actually never return.
'If the Primordials have similar powers as [Undying] grants me, I cannot just leave my father like this. Killing him won't actually be enough…' Dilan thought and he made his decision.
'Forget about the conventional types of torture…I will use every means to make sure that he will never be able to awaken again!!"
With that in mind, Dilan activated the only ability in his possession that was able to grasp someone else's soul!
"[Soul Space], do your thing, get his Soul…and devour it!"
