In the end, it didn't take long before they had come up with a plan.
Instead of following the most plausible plan, to send Yvonne and Rory up against the Blood Orc Champions to bulldoze them quickly, the strongest Ascenders were told to obliterate the army of tens of thousands of Blood Orc Warriors.
Rory would return to her original form, while Yvonne would control her army of 600 Undead before the power duo would wreak havoc.
Siegfried would join them but he would mostly act in an observing manner rather than actually participating in the raid. That frustrated the young Ascender, but nobody wanted to something to happen to Siegfried. He was not strong enough, not yet!
While Yvonne and Rory would obliterate the Army of Blood Orc Warriors, Dilan would kill the hundred Blood Orc Shamans.
The rest were given other missions that were closely related to the annihilation of the Blood Orc Champions. Each of the Blood Orc Champions was extremely powerful, but as long as the Demi Gods were given enough boosts and time to prepare for the fear they were bound to feel, it wouldn't be a problem to eliminate a thousand Blood Orc Champions.
The only issue was that they would have to be killed within minutes, while Williams and Felicia would use a combination of their occupational and self-bound abilities to trick the 12 Apostles.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtDilan didn't know everything about the others' abilities, but he could tell that Williams and Felicia were a decent combo.
Felicia could not only camouflage herself but also the scenery around her. This made it possible for her to hide what happened around and behind her. The range was not that big but it would be enough to encompass all Apostles. That only left the commotion left behind by the battle.
Someone had to cover the sound, vibrations, smell, and chaotic mana fluctuations that were bound to be sensed all over the Orc settlement. And that was where Williams came into action with a very strong mental control ability.
It was not perfect, far from perfect to be precise, but it allowed Williams to weaken his targets' senses to a certain degree.
To make sure that nothing would be suspicious, the 12 Apostles would end up seeing perfectly fine while only their other senses would be restricted, for a total of five minutes.
By then, everything should have been taken care of…or that was what they had planned.
Sven was confident that everything would be fine as long as he used his Domain abilities and a bunch of additional abilities. As for Dilan, he was not afraid of the 12 Apostles. The only thing that made them special was the higher concentration of the Hylavia Mercur Titan sub-bloodline.
At least that was what he could tell from Victoria's explanation of their appearance, which was more than enough for Dilan to tell.
Even if it was not everything he had to pay attention to, he didn't feel that it was a problem to die a few times against the Apostles. He could just heal and beat the shit out of them, after all!
However, Dilan was not alone, not anymore. He had to make sure that the others would get stronger, strong enough to defeat a bunch of Veilures the moment they were to emerge out of the Veils.
At least that was something the others would have to do if their plan to separate Milarn from the Universe wouldn't work. Maybe…just maybe it would become a necessity even if Milarn were to be considered a Universe on its own.
But that was not something they would have to be troubled about, not right now.
The 12 Apostles were more important.
"I am ready when you guys are. I just need a sign when I can leave to slaughter the Blood Orc Shamans!" Dilan said as he looked over to Felicia and Williams. It was most important that they would distract the Apostles first before the others would act…though Dilan was pretty sure that the situation would end up different than everyone hoped.
Even Sven was certain that Felicia and Williams wouldn't be able to distract the twelve Apostles for five minutes. It was just something that Sven hoped for the perfect execution of his plan.
Of course, he told everyone his Plan B, Plan C, and Plan D, but he hoped that they would never come into existence.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAnd then there was also Plan Dilan…yet, everyone belonging to Dilan's old group hated that plan.
The others thought that Plan Dilan was exaggerated and they didn't take it seriously, which was a big mistake.
"Go go, we have to hunt a bunch of Orcs!" Dilan could only say to distract everyone. The discussion about Plan Dilan was getting too heated.
He didn't mind becoming the main target of every Orc in a large radius and he would love to become the bait if not for everyone rejecting that plan right off the bat.
'I can just cause trouble and get scolded for it afterward. That should be easier than Plan Dilan getting rejected whenever Sven comes up with it,'
A few minutes passed in which Felicia and Williams left. Felicia used camouflage on both of them and they made use of a few treasuries and magic scrolls to temporarily hide their presence, scent, mana fluctuations, and even their footprints in front of everyone.
Not even Dilan could find them with the use of Mystic Eyes. That was quite impressive and it showed quite clearly how valuable the magic scrolls were.
After Williams and Felicia left, everyone got ready to attack. They were serious and ready to emerge from hiding at any moment.
Seconds felt like minutes and minutes turned into what felt like an eternity.
However, when the signal was everyone rushed forward with various abilities activated.
Only Dilan remained at his position, strong winds surging toward him and his feet bulging as winds emerged within his feet and around.
"It was about time…to shed some blood!"
