After everyone gained enough motivation to continue participating in the Combat Training Simulations and reach a perfect grade, Dilan could change his focus once again.
Almost an entire month passed and it looked like Dilan had disappeared. However, he was actually spending most of his time inside the Gate, exploring the vast expanse and killing countless monster hordes.
He increased his strength by absorbing three Essence Crystal of the same type of monster and consistently using the perfect Essence Cultivation technique's highest stage.
Dilan had no idea how high his stats were right now but that was actually of no importance because he could tell that his strength kept increasing.
Once he felt that he couldn't increase his strength anymore and his Essence crystal was filled to the brim, he would attempt to use the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique and a few tricks he had learned in the City of Trials to advance to the fifth Tier without the system's help.
He didn't want to spend more time trying to solve some advancement missions to forcibly advance his Essence Crystal's Tier.
That was not necessary, not anymore!
Dilan's plan had been to increase the rank and quality of the Hyel Destructo Armor until the limit of the fourth Tier. He knew that the Hyel Destructo Armor set could advance to the fifth Tier but it was not as if he could use Tier-5 equipment right now.
Thus, the month was spent using the excessive Essence crystals to feed the Hyel Destructo Armor set while his strength increased. He wanted to stay in the Gate for a few more months but a few reasons held him back.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtOne of the reasons included that the Sun God seemed to be getting a little bit…impatient. Neither Dilan nor the others could really tell what was going on in the territory below them but the Sun God and his troupes were rapidly moving from one way to another.
The Flying island was moving through the air, hidden thanks to the Curtain of Invisibility.
At least that was what everyone had expected when a huge Army of the Sun God formed below the flying island.
Hundreds of long-distance rocket launchers and other artillery were installed in a short time and the bombardment of the flying island started.
The attack came out of nowhere and it was quite unexpected. For a whole month, there hadn't been any attack. The Sun God had ignored the flying island and the Ascenders and Monsters of the flying island had focused their attention on the Gate and the Simulation rooms.
Nobody left the flying island and everyone thought that there wouldn't be a problem with the Sun God. There shouldn't be a reason for the Sun God's sudden attack. It came out of nowhere and without apparent reason.
At least, nobody could understand it properly, at this moment.
Was he just tired of them? Did they scare him by going into hiding? They had no idea.
Meanwhile, it was also questionable how the Sun God found the flying island when it was actually supposed to be well-hidden by the Curtain of Invisibility.
Too many questions appeared out of nowhere, but none of them could be answered because it was time to beat the shit out of the Sun God and his Army.
The time to repay him had finally come!
Even if they wouldn't want to kill the Sun God because his death would cause much more trouble than his living presence, that didn't mean they couldn't turn the Sun God's life into hell on Milarn!
Dilan had returned to the flying island where everyone was already waiting. The bombardment of the flying island caused the entire island to shake but the Queen's Image was quite relaxed when she appeared next to him.
"I do not possess any large-scale weaponry, but my dome of protection is pretty powerful. There is no need for you to hold back." The Queen's Image is explained emotionlessly.
Dilan looked at her a little bit weirdly and he ended up sighing deeply.
"Don't you think that you trust too much in my capabilities?" He asked but the Queen's Image didn't respond to him anymore. She had disappeared to focus on the dome of protection's maintenance.
'Nobody is answering me…is that my charm?' Dilan grumbled as he recalled in frustration that not even Ariel Silvertale had answered his message.
It angered him a bit but it was not as if he couldn't understand what was going on.
He didn't look at the Divinity Messenger Board for decades, so why would Ariel Silvertale use the messenger every single day?
She was probably busy enough to deal with other stuff. Furthermore, she might not even feel like messaging with him, to begin with.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm He was also not sure what he had expected, but the Sun God was getting on his nerve, one way or another.
"This fucking moron…I really feel like killing him…Should I cripple him…just a little bit?" Dilan mumbled to himself before he noticed that he wasn't speaking as quietly as he intended.
Wilhelm Star was not too far away from Dilan and he was ready to hear some bullshit from the Demi God. Yet, oddly enough, Wilhelm Star remained quiet. He even distanced himself without saying anything.
'Is that the same idiot I encountered last month?'
"Don't cripple him…but you can beat him a little bit. You alone should be more than enough to stall some time, or do you need our help fighting against that idiot?" Rory appeared from his right with Yvonne, Kathrine, and a few more by her side.
Yvonne and Rory were always in the front, followed by the others.
That made it look like the two were the chiefs in charge.
Well, that was probably the case. They were the strongest, at the highest Tier with the most Essence and their combat talent was the highest.
The two were also in possession of the most unique abilities and powers that allowed them to fight against the strongest existences.
Despite their strength, they were humble and they trained in the Simulation room just like everyone else.
As for their ranks in the simulation rooms, the two were amazing!
"No crippling? Well…that's okay…"
