"The ring!" The arrogant rooster, the male Archangel, shouted out loud when he had enough of Dilan's play.
They flew in the same direction for more than half an hour, just to end up more than ten thousand meters above the surface, somewhere around the corners of the Sun God's former territory.
Their current position was already in the territory that the Angel's Haven Alliance had claimed, but there were still some forces fighting for it, especially the other Alliance, which was giving their utmost to turn the Essence Angel's life into hell…
"You really are annoying. Were you never taught manners?" Dilan retorted calmly.
He had finally calmed down from his raging emotions which he had to the Silver Chicken. By now, he knew that she was just a violent piece of shit, and not something he would have to be bothered about. Her existence was a miracle in itself, but Dilan didn't ask how she was able to be a violent idiot while following the ideals of Powers that ought to be honorable.
"That coming out of your foul mouth sounds like a compliment," Rooster countered and Dilan could only nod his head, a small smile forming on his face.
"I'm glad that we're thinking alike. I wouldn't really believe my words either."
"...What do you mean?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"That I am quite good at lying, of course!"
Dilan seemed calm and his expression didn't show any ill intentions. However, nobody could tell what was hidden behind his calm face.
The three Archangels had already witnessed the power he could unleash. The silver-white beam was still apparent in their mind. It was also one of the reasons why they treated Dilan as if he was a fellow Lesser God rather than a mere mortal.
If he would have been a mere mortal, none of the Archangels would hesitate to dash forward and snatch the Sun God, precisely both the Sun Divinity staff and the Divine Relict.
"Who said I will give the Divine Relift to you guys for free?" Dilan finally asked, while showing the three Archangels something of ordinary appearance but with unfathomable powers hidden behind their looks.
The Divine Relict, the silver ring, was right between Dilan's index and middle fingers, and a devilish smile formed on his face.
"You…!!!" Rooster roared out, unsheathing his Saintly Weapon with an outburst.
"Oh my…what are you doing? That's dangerous," Dilan exclaimed moving backward with the use of his Green Magic. He motioned his hand and twisted it, just to show the three Archangels that his hand was empty all of a sudden.
Dilan's smile turned wider as he watched how the flawless fair skin of the Rooster turned tomato red. It was definitely worth teasing these Archangels!
He held the Divine Relict in his other hand by now and he was only acting as if he was holding onto the Sun God at his mane. If necessary, Dilan was ready to put on the Divine Relict at any moment and kill the Sun God to remove the Soul bound effect of both the Sun Divinity Staff and the Divine Relict.
Dilan's precise control of the surrounding winds made everything possible right now, and the fact that Oricalm was corporeal yet formless. He could change its shape at will, which was how he had gotten his hands on the Divine Relict and how he tricked the Archangel.
"What do you want?" Goldy asked. She was, by far, the calmest and it looked like she understood the current situation very well. At least that was what Goldy thought.
She was confident that Dilan was playing with them, and that he unleashed the silver-light beam in the strongest form he could currently handle as a means of intimidation, and to make clear that he was not weak, let alone a pushover, in order to get the upper-hand in the negotiations he was about to start.
'He is not too bad. There were other humans who had already attained the Tier of a Demi God on the flying island…but he is stronger and better!'
"There is nothing special I desire…just the Sun God's body, the Sun Divinity…and, of course, that you retrieve the Divinity Relict from my dead body…if you can!!"
Unfortunately, Goldy didn't expect Dilan was even better than her conclusion suggested.
"Of course, you can ha..have…huh?"
While the golden-hair Archangel was momentarily baffled that Dilan acted far more foolish than her conclusion had suggested, Dilan had already moved rapidly.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHis Walk of Thunder and Second Acceleration abilities were already fully unleashed and the Zephyr Step movement technique was exerted in its lowest form.
He put the Divine Relict on his index finger and he pierced out with the Oricalm longsword, whose blades were suddenly engulfed in crimson bolts of lightning.
Dilan smiled from one ear to another as he drove the longsword deep inside the Sun God's heart. The Sun God was barely holding onto the last red line, hoping to survive…just to realize that it was all over. He didn't want to believe it and moved one last time, his eyes staring deep into the ice-cold blue eyes of Dilan before the life in the God dispersed slowly.
'...I don't want to go…'
Dilan twisted Oricalm in the heart of the Sun God without paying any attention to the three Lesser Gods who had only been a few hundred meters away from him.
Rooster turned into a flash and he cut down Dilan in an instant. The Silver Chicken didn't stay idle either. She released the light longsword that she had formed a long time ago and pierced them through Dilan without any hesitation.
Blood splattered through the sky above the clouds and Dilan coughed up blood, dirtying the Rooster's beautiful white-feathered wings.
"You should have given us the rings when we gave you the chance! At least, we would have adhered to what we said!" He growled out before twisting his blade inside the young human, whose eyes widened seemingly as if he was surprised.
That was not even far from the truth. Dilan was actually surprised, or precisely, he was confused!
'How can they be so stupid? Are they actually chicken and not Angels…they really lack some brightness…'
