Jake left his back and fell to the ground… That had been tiring in more ways than one. To make things worse, he didn't even get a single piece of Intel. Nevertheless, he hurried to check pursued body of the lich, and he found a magic box. Still, aside from that, only his cloak seemed useful.

"... At least give me a skill that will help with my sword fighting style, damn…" Jake said and then sighed.
Jake went to check his magic herbs since he had left them alone for days and confirmed that there were many leaves to gather, so he started working to improve his mood. Maybe the fact that he used that bow a lot made things end up that way. Nevertheless, complaining wouldn't change a thing.

It would be hard to imagine that any guild would sell him information that readily since he was a stranger… so Jake considered buying some intel from Luke's guild. He was an annoying bastard, but he is good at that kind of thing, and since he was willing to pay for it, he won't feel indebted to them. However, first, Jake had to rest and see if the list of quests might give him some insight into that.
"I also should find a way to return to that planet and check that hideout again… I might find something useful on those machines that were being used," Jake thought. "I didn't have the chance to check the crystals that they were implanting on the others, but…"
After he finished expanding his garden of magic herbs, Jake recalled that he had the magic box of the lich. He didn't check that yet, and now it was a good time to do so. Weirdly enough, Jake didn't find many things aside from some potions that were two or three times more potent than the small ones. There were some weapons, but they were of low quality. In the end, Jake just threw away the items and kept the magic box, only that would be useful.

As expected, things wouldn't be so easy for Jake. He couldn't say how a mission to hunt giant snails could be linked to the previous, so it probably wasn't. In any case, it was the type of mission that he liked.
"I guess I will talk with those morons first before selecting this mission," Jake thought. "That being said, I have a feeling that I will have to unlock new worlds before I can find the humans that caused those problems."
Time was of the essence, so Jake decided to use his day off to go to that guild's world and then head to their base. Fortunately, they didn't move to somewhere else, and things apparently hadn't changed that much. Unfortunately, when Jake approached the entrance and talked with the guards, he heard that the guild master wasn't there. Only Adam was… The leader of the first party he had met in that world.
"Hello again," Adam said after one of the guards went to call him. "I didn't expect you would visit us so soon."
"I came to buy some Intel, not to pay a visit," Jake declared. "I am looking for any groups of players that you guys know that can cause problems."
"Hmm? You aren't being specific… Is it related to the planet Zubos?" Adam asked.
"Yes… How could you tell?" Jake asked while frowning.
"Some of us saw the quest in that world, and since it is different from the usual, we assumed that a human had caused problems there," Adam explained. "That is something that happened to other species, or so we heard."
"You heard, but you didn't go to investigate," Jake said.
"We are a big guild, if we make big moves to hunt that kind of troublemakers, then we might cause problems for the newcomers and scare those who are thinking of joining us," Adam said, then he lowered his voice. "That is why Luke and the guild master had planned to deal with that in case it happened to us… Behind the scenes of course. But the timing was bad this time. Neither of them are here. Luke returned to Earth with your friends and they will only return in a few days."
Naturally, he couldn't tell what Frederick was up to, and he probably was doing something serious on his own as well… in any case, his explanation seemed sound.
