Chapter 173 Trunel Orcs
Trunel Woods was unofficially divided into three areas.
The outer area, where Arthur had fought the Bone Blade beast before.
The Middle area where the Black Root Hemlocks were found and then finally the inner area where the Hideout of Dozla was.
The difference in the areas also meant that there were different mobs that one would come across. For the outer area, it was mostly Bone Blade beasts though they could also be found in the middle area.
But the main enemy in the middle area were none other than Trunel Orcs. One could find them wandering around, either alone or in small groups. They would also hunt other animals for food thus, players would encounter them often.
Though if they came across players, the Orcs would be fine considered them as prey too. Thus one needed to be careful when entering deeper into the woods.
If a player was unprepared and they stumbled into the deeper parts, they could very well end up dying.
Thankfully though, as long as they were aware of their surroundings it wouldn't be that hard to tell. The change in scenery was apparent as Arthur could see the trees becoming taller and denser.
"Seems like we're half way there." Arthur could judge by just looking at the trees.
It was an important way of navigating without the use of maps and players needed to learn it or it would get really difficult.
If it were any other player trying to go after the Hideout of Dozla's bandits, it would be quite difficult for them. The Hideout was located in the depths of the Trunel Woods and even then that area was vast.
It wasn't enough to just reach the depths, one also needed to be lucky enough to find the exact location. Which was quite difficult when one found the area to be the same due to the trees spreading everywhere. If one wasn't good at tracking, it was very easy to get lost.
And this was all on top of facing the dangerous enemies as well. In the depths, one would encounter stronger Orcs that could very easily kill the player if they were careless.
In Arthur's past life, it had taken players a few months to finally find the location of Dozla's Bandits and another month to successfully clear it.
'Though back then the objective was different… Dozla had already left the hideout and it was just a part of his bandits staying there.' Arthur recalled.
If Dozla was still there back then, Arthur was sure the players would never have been able to clear it. After all, the Bandit chief was of a very high level. He wasn't supposed to be a foe that the players should have faced this early on anyways.
And by the time players did face him, they were already above level 100.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt just served to show just how far Dozla was supposed to be.
'And yet, if all goes well, he'll be meeting his end here.' Arthur thought to himself, a thrilling feeling going through his body.
his last life he had to face a lot of setbacks and lag behind others. But now that he knew it all, he wished to take as much advantage of This was the first time Arthur was doing something like this, as in his last life he had to face a lot of setbacks and lag behind others. But now that he knew it all, he wished to take as much advantage of it as he could while also enjoying it.
The thrill of eliminating a future boss, this early on was quite great too.
~step~step~step~
While Arthur was thinking all this though, he suddenly heard some footsteps.
"Krrr~" Brambles also informed of the approaching enemy.
"Looks like we're now gonna be seeing more of Orcs…" Arthur could tell from just the sound of the footsteps.
As such, he was already in an offensive stance, ready to attack.
~rustle~
And sure enough, a few seconds later, the appearance of a humanoid became visible among the trees.
The Orc had green skin and was about the same height as a normal human. Though its body was a lot more muscular and bulky as compared to a human. It also had two tusks coming out from its lower jaw that looked rather threatening.
It carried a crude wooden club in its hand while wearing clothes made out of animal fur.
Though there was one thing that stood out. There was a marking on the Orc's chest. It looked like letter of some kind, but it was unknown what it meant.
Upon seeing the Orc, Arthur immediately used Dragon's Insight.
>Dragon's Insight has been successfully activated!<

Looking at the information, Arthur knew this was the lowest member of Orc tribe.
'So that mark on its chest means it belongs to the Trunel Orc tribe… still its weak enough to be killed easily.' Arthur thought to himself.
An Orc tribe could have members of different ranks and levels. Their strengths varied according to their rank.
"Hor?" The Orc spotted Arthur soon after, but before it could even register what was in front of it, he saw it moving toward him.
~SLICK~
Without hesitation, Arthur stabbed through the chest of the Trunel Orc.

Dietrich went through the heart of the Trunel Orc, ending its life before it could even realize anything.
~THUD~
Arthur pulled out the spear, letting the corpse fall to the ground with a thud.
"These ones aren't worth much either… I'll have to go after the stronger ones for better experience. Though they'll still make my journey easier." Arthur muttered to himself.
He didn't even bother to check if the Orc had any loot since the weaker ones didn't really carry much with them.
