Arthur looking like an NPC made it easier for him to enter the Guild with ease and even allowed him to skip the line.
"Over here," Caleb seemingly spotted him coming in too, and called him over.
This earned him a few more looks from the players, but only cemented his identity as an NPC for them.
"Wasn't that the guild master?" One of the players asked.
"Yeah… That is the one that talked to us." Another player standing in the line nodded.
"Why's he personally calling over that guy?" someone asked.
"Probably a high ranked adventurer or something. I can't use inspect on him anyway. He's out of our league."
Arthur heard the players talk and felt a bit amused. It was a strange feeling as the players didn't really care about talking out loud. They were used to doing so in most other games, as the NPCs wouldn't pay any attention to the conversation of the players.
'They'll have to learn the hard lesson on their own… Every word spoken can exact a heavy cost if heard by the wrong ears…' Arthur knew just what kind of trouble a loose tongue could get one in the game.
NPCs didn't just ignore the conversations of the players. They would in fact deeply listen to them, forming their own conclusions and ideas about the players and what they did.
Oftentimes, players were caught plotting to commit a crime.
It became so easy for the guards to do their job since the players were dumb enough to do it right in front of their faces, even going so far as to point and poke at them, thinking they wouldn't do anything.
'They'll be in for a rude awakening later for sure,' Arthur was assured.

~THUD~
The doors of the office closed, blocking off all the noise from the outside.
~Phew~
"Those are some really noisy adventurers, for sure." The Guild master said while rubbing his forehead. "I got a headache just staying there."
"Otherworldly adventurers are kinda like that… it'll take them a while to calm down… if they ever do that." Arthur could only placate the man somewhat.
~Sigh~
"I wish they were more like you. The ones I've met so far are all behaving like children or patients who escaped from a sanitorium and keep on finding me. I don't know why, but they keep on wanting to talk to me and ask random questions.
One of them followed me all the way into the toilet for god's sake!" Caleb did not seem to be pleased at all.
Arthur wanted to laugh but knew it would be rude to do so right now. He held in his laughter and could only listen to the man vent.
'Though I suppose this is a good sign. Don't think the guild master would do this with others.' Arthur realized his venerated status was working here.
Caleb went on to rant for nearly twenty minutes nonstop, during which he told Arthur about every weird thing that the players had done.
"Also, why the fuck are some of them jumping around like madmen? In the morning I saw a couple of you trying to jump and slam into the side of the guild building!
Then there was this fat man crouching around with a bucket on his head. He kept on shuffling around us while crouching, pretending as if we couldn't see him.
All of them are insane, I must say." The guild master complained.
Arthur had a wry smile on his face, realizing that the guild master might have encountered the speed runners trying to find glitches.
"Yeah… those ones are… a bit extra 'special'. If they bother too much, you can always throw them in the jail for a bit." Arthur could only give a straightforward solution.
"That's the thing! I called the guards and they went along with them 'Enthusiastically'. They seemed more excited going to the jail than they did seeing the guild!" Caleb said, opening a decanter of spirits.
~POP~
He opened the cork and poured out a tall glass of amber spirit.
~GULP~
He downed it in one go, before pouring out another one.
"You want one?" He offered.
"Uhh… Sure?" Arthur was rather curious. 'Drinking alcohol only gave a status effect and didn't really do much to the players. But… I wonder how it will be for me since I have synchronization.' He was excited to experiment.
Caleb poured a drink for Arthur and handed him the glass.
"Well, here goes nothing." Arthur finished the glass in one go as well. "Huh, not mu—" A couple seconds later, the burn hit him.
>Player Arzhur has consumed Amber Wood Whiskey for the first time!<
>Player Arzhur is inflicted by Intoxication!<
"Huh…" Arthur opened the window, taking a closer look.
~Ding~

'I see… The effects are about the same as before, but I can 'feel' them a lot better.' Arthur understood but wanted to test more. "Can I get another?" he asked.
"Sure," The guild master seemed to be rather eager to drink too.
~sip~
Arthur didn't swallow the drink one go this time, instead choosing to sip and savor the drink.
'Tastes like average whiskey…' While Arthur wasn't well versed in whiskeys and other spirits, he could at least tell that this was a rather normal one.
"Want another?" Caleb asked.
"Uhh… do you not have work today? Also, you did call me here, right?" Arthur inquired.
"Bah! I don't wanna work today."
