Chapter 263 Goblin Bounties
Blood, guts, and limbs could be seen scattered in the forest while a giant beetle trampled over them.
Goblin after Goblin was killed and over a hundred of them had been wiped out so far.
"And, that's a hundred and twenty!" Arthur stabbed a Goblin Archer in its chest, ending its life.

"That's the second bounty." Arthur had already finished the first bounty and killed the normal goblins before this. "Just thirty more of them Brambles, then we'll have enough!" he spoke out while lunging towards another group that wanted to try to approach him.
~SLICK~
Arthur stabbed through two Goblin Warriors causing massive damage.

Arthur kicked the two goblins away with his leg, freeing the Key Spear before attacking the others.
His spear spun through the air, reaping the lives of goblins nonstop.

"KRIIIII!" Brambles sensed a hint of danger at this moment and warned Arthur with a cry.
~BOOM~
And sure enough, a second later a fireball stuck where Arthur had been standing.
~BOOM~
Another Fireball struck Bramble's back, exploding on its surface.

"Tch~ so they are finally coming out." Arthur saw the next group of goblins that had two Goblin Mages in them.
Goblin Mages were the most troublesome bunch out of the Goblins and could use magics like humans too. The issue though, was that these were sneaky, and would ambush you when you least expected. Thankfully, Brambles was able to smell them before they could do much.
"Spear Coating: Water Slicer!" Arthur didn't give the two Goblin Mages much time and directly used the spell he had infused into the spear.
~SHING~
A wide arc of water shot toward the two Goblin Mages, cutting through their chests, and drawing blood and flesh.

"GIIIIIII!" The Goblin Mages cried in pain upon being hit and ended up dropping their crude staffs.
They were made out of animal bones that were then engraved with some primitive runes. Even if they were mages, it didn't mean that they were strong. They were still Goblins in the end, and their intelligence wasn't exactly much to boast about.
As such their spell power was low too and could be endured by most players with little to no issue. The problem only happened when these Goblin Mages ambushed the players, as the other goblin types would then also attack, overwhelming them.
This way the players would be attacked on both fronts, falling to a disadvantage and dying.

Brambles was having none of it and used his large horn to bat the Goblin Mages into the sky!

"There should be a few more parties of these goblins that have the mages in them. Tell me when you smell them, Brambles." Arthur spoke to the beetle before starting to gather the corpses.
They had killed all the goblins that were within the area so far, and would have to go further to encounter more. Still, Arthur didn't want to waste all these corpses as they could be sold. As such, he took the time to store all of them in the Night's Abyssal cape.
Of course, it wasn't easy as Arthur had to wait twenty minutes to restore his Mana after having depleted it once.
'It's good that I got the mediation skills… they are coming in handy now for sure.' Arthur sat down to recuperate his Mana.
His mana started to regenerate at a faster rate than normal, and ten minutes later it was full again. He resumed storing all the corpses, and managed to store them before running out of Mana. He used the last bits of mana to use Spear Coating on Dietrich and infused the water slicer spell in it again.
'For weaker mobs like the Goblins, this is good in taking out multiple of them at once.' Arthur reckoned as he finally finished storing all the corpses in his cape.
He didn't use the Mana restoration potions, as he didn't wish to waste them here. Plus, he could regenerate the mana on his own too, thus didn't mind with the time that he had available to him.

Looking at Bramble's toughness, Arthur knew that he would be relying on him to protect him from attacks.
"I'll need him for the last bounty for sure." Arthur muttered to himself as he gazed in the distance.
He was now in a new area, and the number of hills here had increased. These hills were strangely shaped and looked like vertical spindles.
This area was none other than the Spindle Hills!
