"How the hell is this even worse than the previous one?" Arthur almost couldn't believe it.
He started to question how the Bandits had even survived this long with such bad quality weapons. If the durability of a weapon fell below 25% a player would start getting warnings. Even the performance of the weapon would fall depending on the type it was.
Weapons with sharp edges were the most affected by durability as their sharpness would drop. This would in turn reduce their attack power too. Only blunt weapons had a higher resistance to Durability drop since they were mostly used to bludgeon the enemies.
In the case of Ranged Weapons like bows, it would reduce the range as well as the attack power.
"Sigh… Even for being bandits near a newbie village, aren't their weapons a little too bad?" Arthur couldn't help but wonder.
He started to feel that there was more to it than he had originally thought.
'Did they get damaged somehow?' He wondered.
The use of weapons was the most common way their durability would drop. Most of the time players or even NPCs would stop using a weapon once it fell below 25% durability and would seek to get it repaired first.
The only reason they would continue using it was if they were in a situation where that was not possible.
'Since these are bandits, they certainly can't go to a village to get it repaired. And they are away from their main group too so they don't have anyone that can temporarily repair them either. Which means they have had enough fights for it to reach this level.' Arthur analyzed just what might have happened.
If it was true, then it showed just how strong the bandits were relative to the other mobs here. Perhaps only the Ruin Guardians, the Insanity-affected beasts and the Razer Tusk Boar were stronger than them in the forest.
On the other hand, he also realized how simple it was to kill the bandits as long as one knew how to take advantage of their vulnerabilities. Being humans, they had higher intelligence but at the same time their other senses were lower or non-existent.
For example, a beast might not see or hear you, but it could smell your scent before you even got a kilometer of its range. But for humans, one might not even realize if someone was right behind them.
Different types of enemies come with different kinds of characteristics. It was up to the player to determine what was the best way of exploiting them.
Arthur might not have been a top player that hunted legendary enemies in his last life, but he had still killed plenty of normal kinds of enemies. He knew how they worked and the general characteristic of each.
And this wasn't even considering the research he had done about them.
"It should be easier now that two of them are dead." Arthur muttered to himself as he got up.
His experience bar was at the 65% mark and he just needed a few more enemies to fill it up.
'The other bandits will give 5% each so I should have 80% Experience… I'll just hunt some beasts to fill the rest if I don't find more bandits.' Arthur reckoned.
With that in mind, he made his way back to the small camp of the Bandits. His strategy was going to be the same; he was going to single out the Bandits and kill them.
'Huh… they're already separate?' much to Arthur's surprise the Bandits were lazying around.
Two of them were fast asleep, while the last remaining guy was carving something into the wood to pass the time. The distance between the single bandit was also about ten meters from the other two.
While it was within the sense of detection for the two bandits, since they were sleeping Arthur knew he had a bit more leeway.

In order to prevent the lone bandit from thinking too much, Arthur first passed by the two sleeping Bandits. That way even if he made a little noise, the lone bandit would simply think that it was coming from his companions.
The Black Tear Short Sword was drawn and Arthur was ready to strike.
Holding his breath, Arthur approached the lone bandit, the sound of his carving masking some of his footsteps. Keeping his eyes and ears wide open, Arthur managed to reach within two steps of the lone Bandit.
"Did you wake up already? Can I nap next?" The lone Bandit suddenly spoke, as if sensing someone behind him.
Arthur's nerves tensed as he saw the Bandit about to turn.
'NOW!' A rush of Adrenaline pushed Arthur into action, the Black Tear Short Sword thrusting forward.
'Huh…' The Bandit's expression was that of confusion when he saw an unknown person standing there.
It took a moment for him to realize the Sword that was pierced through his throat. Due to his turning, Arthur's attack had missed the mark slightly and had entered the man's neck diagonally.
Still, it was enough that the man couldn't speak, blood gurgling out his mouth.

>Player Arzhur has hit a weak point, the Bandit is inflicted with mass bleeding!<
"Shit!" Arthur cursed under his breath, hurrying to catch the falling bandit.
He barely managed to hold the collapsing bandit, the blood from his neck drenching Arthur's chest and back.
Warm blood doused Arthur's body, but all his attention was on the two sleeping bandits now.
