Grey and his friends finally heard the news they were waiting for; the top experts are all going into the supposed tomb of a God Plane Elememtalist in search of the opportunity to finally beca God Plane expert.

"Do you think the Gnomes will buy it?" Reynolds wasn't too optimistic about it.

"The Gnomes will have sNecromancers among the experts who went for the Conference, even people like us can go as well. So the Necromancers will inform the Gnomes." Klaus explained.

"Exactly! And once they hear the conversation between the experts, they'll know the human experts are not lying, nor would they want to give them the chance to step into the Gnworld."

"We do have a good shot at this then. Even if they leave a few top powerhouses, I think I have a way to make them send in more people." Grey explained.

"Oh, what's that?" Alice asked.

"Who does the Gnomes want dead more than anything?" Grey asked with a smile.

"Definitely you. Given the ability you have, you're a threat to their existence." Klaus answered.

"Exactly."

"You seem to be forgetting something." Reynolds chirped in.

"The space is going to be sealed so as to keep everyone there? I already figured that out. In case you're forgetting, I have this guy with me." Grey pointed at the bunny leader who was sleeping.

"Others might not be able to get out of it, but I'm positive it can." Grey added.

He explained where he first saw the bunny leader and how it has even been able to travel to the Chaos Battlefield. Thinking about the Chaos Battlefield, Grey couldn't help but think about how assimilating the chaos energy to his essence energy boosted his usual attack power due to its superiority.

"How confident are you that he will be able to get you out?" Reynolds asked.

"At least seventy percent." Grey replied confidently.

"That's still too risky, without you, our mission there will be nothing more than a failure." Klaus didn't like the idea, neither did the others.

"The only way we can drag in more people is withentering this place. They all wantdead, so they will naturally try their best to killsince the opportunity will finally arrive." Grey explained.

"Before we can agree to that, it's best if you can speak to your father first. At least they should leave an escape route for you." Alice suggested.

Grey's father is part of the people who would seal up the place, so it would be best if he can leave an escape route for Grey and the bunny leader. That's the only way they will be comfortable with agreeing to him going. As a matter of fact, they were even willing to enter this place with him, after all, there are a few Early stage Sovereigns who are preparing to enter.

"Alright, I'll speak to my father. I'm sure he will be able to help out. For now, I have sinformation about the hideout not far from here. They have a vessel, and this vessel is planning to enter the God's tomb." Grey said.

"This is not good news for us. They might be carrying stop experts and would enter the tomb from our side." Klaus said.

"Naturally, but I've figured out the danger of these vessels and the reason the Gnomes have kept quiet about it all this while." Grey looked at his friends with a cunning smile, "When a vessel is completely destroyed, no matter the strength of the person hiding inside, they would be killed as well."  Visit n_o_v_e_l_n_e_x_t_c o_m to read the most accurate version

"How can you completely destroy a vessel without being vastly superior to them?" Alice didn't think the vessel would be someone in the Venerable Plane. One thing to note about these vessels is that they are geniuses with unique bodies that makes it very easy for them to get to the Sovereign Plane.

All vessels they've encountered to date are all in the Sovereign Plane.

"That's why you call someone who's stronger." Grey replied.

"When do you plan to kill this vessel?" Reynolds asked.

"When it's obviously filled to the brim." Grey revealed a cunning smile.

Of course he could take out the vessel now, but he knew the vessel is currently empty which means there's no point in doing that. Waiting until it's filled will give them a greater reward since they would kill a few Sovereigns, reducing the number of Sovereigns coming from the Gnworld.

The Gnomes would think they are going to get the advantage in this since they were willing to hide speople in the vessels, Grey on the other hand has something more lethal to the Gnomes in mind, track down as many vessels as he could that will be filled for this journey and take them all out simultaneously before the occupants of the vessel has the opportunity to step out.

"So we're no longer attacking Necromancers' hideouts?" Klaus asked.

"Nope, we're gathering vital information. We can wipe out a large number of Sovereigns among the Gnomes. You know they've always had the advantage due to being able to control puppets." Grey explained, "So we'll take out as many as possible to even the odds. Well, I don't think we can even the odds, but at least reduce the danger for the other humans who will be entering that place."

"That's a good plan, I can stick with that. You should speak to your father and plan our escape route." Alice reminded Grey.

Grey had no issue with telling his father his plan. They soon set off to start gathering information about each hideout around the Continent they were currently in. They've already been able to know how many vessels were in the Southern Continent, and they were presently in the Western Continent, hoping to gather as much information as they could about the vessels. Grey's plan was to kill off all vessels who were willing to work with the Gnomes and to look for a way to save the others, if there was no way, then they would be sacrificed for the better good of the humans.

1567 Hunt For A Test Subject

Grey spoke with both his father and his mother about his plan to use himself as bait to draw most of the Gnomes into the God's tomb. Not just that, with the speed at which he is improving, the Gnomes would not want him to break through to the God Plane since even then, their God Plane Elementalists that were overseeing their world would be in danger.

Grey is already very dangerous as it is. With his current strength, only Gnomes in the Mid stages can stand against him and the chances of them defeating him is also very slim, so they needed Late stage Sovereigns, powerful ones that will be able to quickly dispatch him. They all knew he had a lot of tricks up his sleeves, hence the reason he has been able to escape every assassination attempt and even the few times he fought against stronger opponents, he tends to always escape.

Lucas and Martha felt allowing Grey to cinto the God's tomb was too dangerous for him, especially with the Necromancers going with them. But then Grey gave them the news of the Necromancers having vessels and wanting to stock them with Sovereigns who would then enter from the human side and would most likely wait until the humans and the Gnomes clash before coming out. Having such a good number of people suddenly coming out means that the humans would find it hard to defend and will suffer from unimaginable losses.

Being the only one able to identify these people meant that they had to take Grey. The thought of being able to kill those Necromancers while wiping out a large number of GnSovereigns was very tempting. This was a good opportunity for Grey to fish out many Necromancers, and Lucas was also planning on using this chance to purge the humans of Necromancers.

Of course, there will be a few top ones that they can't locate, but with most of the weaker ones dead, the top ones will lay lower than what they're doing right now and wouldn't want to attract the ire of the other top experts.

Grey and his parents spoke and he agreed to help them fish out Necromancers. He decided to go as far as creating a technique that will enable him to locate even those hiding Necromancers, he has already gotten a way to locate them, but those hiding in plain sight are harder to sense, and they are the most dangerous ones.

For that, he would need a candidate to be researched on, of course, no Necromancer will willingly agree to be experimented on, but that's where the part they're hated by almost everyone comes into play. Grey wouldn't feel any remorse while conducting his research on the test subject they would capture from a hideout soon enough. He felt the stronger the test subject, the better.

When his friends heard about his intentions to kidnap a Third stage Necromancer, they were bamboozled, but also thrilled. A Third stage Necromancer would push them to the limit, at least if they weren't all fighting against the Necromancer.

Individually, they could at least exchange a few moves, but they will be completely overpowered within a short tand defeated. So they will try to fight two against one and use the Third stage Sovereign to hone their skills, especially Alice and Reynolds who broke through later than the first duo.

Grey and Klaus were very close to the Second stage of the Sovereign Plane, and if not for them slowing down on their hunt for Necromancers, they might've broken through already thanks to the constant battles.

Tricking a Third stage Necromancer isn't going to be easy, but once again, Grey's nwas very alluring to these Necromancers as they see it as a chance to get on the good side of the Gnomes which will make life easier for them. So any one of them would be willing to take the opportunity once presented, and they wouldn't want to share it with anyone else.

This was the one Grey tricked the Third stage Sovereign Necromancer out of the hideout into their trap.

Before the Necromancer got to the place, he had already set a three layered array formation. The first one was to ensure there was no way the Necromancer could escape, the second one was to hide the aura of the battle from the outside world since it was very important no one else comes here, and the third one was to boost the strength of him and his friends.

The Necromancer was a lady who looked to be in her fifties, she was a bit robust, and was starting to get gray hairs. From her looks, it was easy to see that she might be from a top Faction and only cto the hideout for sbusiness. Necromancers who look like these are the ones who are always hiding in plain sight.

Reynolds and Alice stepped forward when the lady got to the center of the array.

"Who are you two?" She asked calmly, no signs of worry in her tone. "We're just wanderers." Reynolds replied.

"Why are you blocking my path then, wanderers?" The lady looked at the duo and could already see through their cultivation stage, they were both in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane which meant that they were within her ability to handle, the problem is that they were so young which can only mean one thing, they are from a top Family or Faction.

She knew there were a few Factions and Families that had ways of knowing who killed their geniuses, and she didn't want to draw any attention to her.

"Nothing, we just thought we should stop you." Alice answered.

"I'm from the Purple Cloves Faction, and you wouldn't want to have any issues with my Faction, would you?" The lady squinted her eyes to a slit as she asked.

She was just as the group predicted, from a top Faction and was only there for sbusiness before this juicy opportunity presented itself to her.

"The Purple Cloves Faction?" Alice asked with a confused expression before shaking her head and turning to Reynolds, "Hmm, never heard of it. Have you?"

"No I have not, but I have heard of the deceitful Necromancer hiding among them." Reynolds' looked at the lady with a smile on his face.
