page.

Josephine’s eyes trembled as she looked at Nancy in astonishment.

Josephine echoed her word in her mind, “Divorce?”

Nancy glanced at her. “Stop acting as if I have mistreated you every time. Ask yourself if the Alvarez

family had ever mistreated you all these years.”

“There are so many men out there. Why do you insist on clinging to Lewis?”

Josephine stood still, her mind blank.

Nancy stood up and coldly stared at Josephine. “Lewis took pity on you because you are mute, so he

took you in. But I’m not as kind-hearted as he is.

“You’d better be smart and leave. Don’t challenge my patience again, or don’t blame me for

not warning you.”

Josephine shook her head, signing with her hand, but Nancy turned her head away and refused

to look at her.

“When the time comes, I won’t be so accommodating.”
