Chapter 102
Naomi blamed Anastasia as she wailed.
No parents will hurt their children. However, Anastasia was not even willing to spare her child.
Anastasia looked at Naomi and smiled sardonically. “Do you feel heartbroken at losing your future
grandson or granddaughter?”
Naomi glared at Anastasia, clearly enraged.
“Now, you can understand how I feel. You got rid of my cat while I aborted your grandchild. I think it’s
fair.” Anastasia’s voice was hoarse but full of hatred.
“I knew it, you malicious woman! You aborted my grandson for a little beast!” Naomi was so angry that
she had a sudden blackout. Felicia held her because Naomi could barely stand still.
“Alastor, look at this vicious woman. Look how she aborted your child over a beast!” Naomi was still
crying as she yelled. “She aborted my grandson just because I asked someone to get rid of that beast.
She did this to take revenge on you
“You’re right. I truly am that vicious. You know what? That fetus was almost three months old. He had
already developed facial features, and one could clearly distinguish his eyes, ears, and mouth. Would
you like to take him home? He’s inside the trash can in the operating room. You can take him back if
you like him so much.”
Anastasia’s voice was hoarse while she spoke. Her heart felt like it was being cut by a knife with each
word she uttered.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhy did she have to please Alastor and Naomi when they had made things so difficult for her?
She wasn’t a saint after all.
From now on, her child had nothing to do with Alastor and the Lopez family.
“You vicious woman…” Naomi felt like she couldn’t breathe and nearly fainted.
“Anastasia!” Alastor yelled at Anastasia. He asked someone to send Naomi home to rest.
“Do you have to say such provocative things?” Alastor gave her a complicated look. He clenched his
hands tightly until they turned pale, and he felt like his heart was bleeding.
Anastasia’s words not only aggravated Naomi but also riled up Alastor.
“What should I say? Should I comfort you? Should I say something like, ‘It doesn’t matter if Snowball is
dead and the child is gone, we can still raise another cat and have another child’?” Anastasia was
becoming moré riled up as she spoke.
“Don’t agitate the patient, please. She just had an abortion and is relatively weak.” The nurse frowned
and asked someone to wheel Anastasia back to the ward.
“I don’t want to see him, doctor,” said Anastasia in a hoarse voice.
She just wanted to be alone.
Later, Alastor truly didn’t come to see her. Anastasia heard that Naomi was hospitalized for heart
palpitations.
“Annie…” Kimberly sat beside the hospital bed in fear and looked at Anastasia.
She thought that Anastasia resembled a corpse at this moment.
“I’m fine…” whispered Anastasia.
Kimberly choked out, “I’ll go buy you some light chowder. Don’t take things too hard. Snowball isn’t in
pain, and Jason is dealing with it.” She got up and left when she saw Zachary had arrived.
“Mr. Quinn, thank you for what happened today and the DNA paternity test. I don’t know what to do to
repay you.” Anastasia propped herself up and sat down. She wouldn’t have known how to hide it from
Alastor if Zachary hadn’t helped
her.
Now both Alastor and Naomi believed that the baby had been aborted.
“I will certainly lend you a hand if you ask me for help.” Zachary sat beside the hospital bed and looked
at Anastasia. “Have you considered how to live your life after divorcing him?”
“It’s too early to think about it now. People like me muddle along from day to day.” Anastasia smiled
bitterly.
Zachary was silent for a moment before he spoke again. “Jason is a good guy. I can see that he truly
loves you.”
“Mr. Quinn, you know Jason?” Anastasia had always been curious that Zachary and Jason seemed to
know each other. “Well, a friend asked me to take care of him,” explained Zachary briefly.
“Mr. Quinn, do you know who owns the only single mansion in the center of Hillscester Island?”
Anastasia wanted to learn more about Jason.
That mansion was too expensive and couldn’t be bought easily just because one had money.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“That mansion?” Zachary was stunned. “It was bought over by Samuel Zabinski, a rich Clusian man, at
a sky-high price of 60 million dollars during an auction five years ago.”
Anastasia was stunned for a moment, and her body stiffened slightly.
“Samuel? Why would a rich man like him let Jason live in his mansion for no reason? Felicia said
before that Jason used to keep both men and women company in order to survive in Atharia,” thought
Anastasia.
Anastasia rubbed her eyebrows and whispered, “Did Samuel publicly come out of the closet?”
Zachary laughed. “Do you still care about that? Why are you interested in Samuel all of a sudden? The
Zabinski family and the Gunn family are indeed powerful and are incomparable to the business circles
in Hork. But don’t choose Samuel if you want to take revenge on Alastor, it’s better not to choose
Samuel. He is not young and not interested in women, not to mention he has come out publicly.”
Anastasia felt more heartbroken when she heard this.
She didn’t know how much Jason had suffered.
“You can choose me if you really want to take revenge on Alastor. I can help you with it.” Zachary
looked at Anastasia seriously.
Anastasia smiled weakly. “Mr. Quinn, you must be kidding. Although my relationship with Alastor is
over, and our marriage will not continue, it still hasn’t reached the stage for me to take revenge on him.”
Zachary shrugged and said nothing more.
“Annie…” Jason had arrived and stood outside the door. He had changed his clothes and wore a
surgical mask, looking unhappy.
It was clear that he had caught a cold.
