"Yawn…" A long yawn resounded in the inn room. The four men gathered around a table, playing cards while waiting for Arthur to arrive.

As the clock continued ticking, they heard the sound of the lock twisting and the door opening.

Arthur removed his hood as he entered the room.

The four men dropped their cards and looked at Arthur, anticipating his words.

"The ship will leave tomorrow," Arthur said while removing the cloak.

The four men nodded.

"Is the captain trustworthy?" Xerxus asked while placing the cards on the deck.

Arthur sat on the bed, crossing his arms, "Yes, I have known him for a while. He owes me and wouldn't betray me."

Xerxus nodded, and leaned against the cold window, "We are in a finishing line, huh."

Amour tapped his finger against the table, "Unfortunately, the finishing line will be full of bumps."

"Agreed." Arthur nodded and lay down on the bed; he slowly closed his eyes, "Get rest; tomorrow will be a long day."

The four men nodded, and as the moonlight shone from the window, the room turned silent as everyone returned to their beds.

The wind blew, and small raindrops fell from the sky. Soon, the sound of raindrops hitting the ground reverberated in the small town. Outside White Harbor, several shadowy figures moved across the town, searching for Arthur and the four men.

However, they didn't find even a single clue about their whereabouts. They couldn't ask either since that would lose their trump card. Most likely, Arthur didn't know about their existence. Thus, revealing themselves was out of the question.

After searching the whole town, they only thought about one possible place where they could be. Soon, they were surrounding the inn.

Slowly, the moonlight passed, and a shimmer of light appeared from the layers of darkness. A yellow wheel of fire alongside cotton-white clouds appeared.

Another day started in the peaceful town of White Harbor.

Inside Souldeath Castle after a sleepless night.

Lord sat in his office, enraged by the incompetence his son showed. They ordered the Souldeath Assassins to find the whereabouts of Arthur and rest. Their job was to stop them from leaving with the ship by any means necessary!

"If even that fails… I still have my backup plan…" Lord said with a ruthless glint reflecting off his eyes.

The sunlight seeped through the drapes and shone on Lord's aged face. Half of his face shone by the sun, while the other half hid in darkness.

"…" Arthur slightly moved the curtains enough to peek outside with one eye. While the streets looked peaceful, with White Harbor citizens minding their own business, there was a slight tension in the air.

His gaze carefully examined all the rooftops and dark areas. However, he couldn't find the sight of anyone.

Until finally, a dark silhouette jumped from one rooftop to another.

Arthur slowly closed the curtains and looked at the four men wearing battle outfits.

"We are surrounded." He said with relative calmness, and picked up his bag from his bed.

"Should I take care of them?" Xerxus asked while rubbing his feet.

"No…" Arthur turned to the average-looking youth, "Isaac, you do it."

Isaac, who still wore the mask that made him look very average, looked slightly surprised but nodded.

He unholstered the Silvercloud and smirked, "See you in the harbor.

Everyone else nodded and saw star patterns surrounding Isaac's body. Soon, the stars wholly covered him, and he disappeared.

The Souldeath Assassins continued hiding on the rooftops, away from the view of the citizens. Their honed senses kept them alrt, and they could feel even a tiny ripple in the air. However, the next moment took them completely off-guard!

Tap.

"?!" One of the dark-robed Assassins froze completely as he felt a gun's barrel touching the back of his head.

"Don't move…" Isaac said as he held the Assassin at gunpoint.

"Hah…" However, the Assassin suddenly chuckled, "You think you can threaten me and force my brethren to lower their weapons? We trained to ignore our emotions, and they will kill both of us."

"Sure, let's test that theory!" Isaac suddenly grabbed him from his collar and jumped off the rooftop. Suddenly, all the Assassins whipped their heads around and saw one of their brethren held hostage!

Their eyes shook, and there was a moment of hesitation, which was exactly what Isaac waited for.

''Ignore our emotions, my ass.'' Isaac raised the gun and smacked it across the Assassins' nape, knocking him off swiftly. Then, he landed on another rooftop and fired the gun on several occasions.

Bang, bang, bang!

The bullets rippled through the air, and drilled through another Assassin's thigh, immobilizing him.

"Eh, what was that?" A clean-shaven young man asked while thinking that he might have heard some banging noise coming from above. He wasn't the only one as the citizens stopped and frowned.

Arthur and the men slipped out of the inn and ran straight toward the harbor. They could hear the gunshots, but they didn't change any of their expressions.

Isaac jumped across several rooftops, spinning around as he fired the gun. Bang, bang, bang, more bullets flew, and the Assassins continued getting hit.

Soon later, Isaac landed on top of the inn, where the last Assassin hid.

The Assassin held the dagger in a reverse grip, oozing with bloodlust.

Isaac lifted the gun and pulled the trigger. As the bullet explosively left the barrel, the Assassin swung his dagger, deflecting the bullet.

As more gunshots echoed in the air, the citizens finally realized that something was going on.

Swoosh!

The Assassin used the reverse grip to his advantage and slashed in a somewhat unorthodox manner. The dagger shone under the sunlight as it flew towards Isaac's neck.

However, Isaac then blocked the dagger with the Silvercloud while the barrel faced downward.

"?!" The Assassin took a step forward and tried to push the gun away.

However, then Isaac pulled the trigger, and the bullet flew out of the barrel, and drilled through the Assassin's foot!

"?!" The Assassin looked down with a frightened look. He now understood that Isaac had waited for that one extra step, expecting him to try to push the gun away. Thus, the foot arrived in view of the barrel.
