Hope held her head and said playfully, “Please forgive me, Maia. I won’t tease you anymore. I swear!”
Jennifer, who was sitting behind them, covered her mouth and smiled. Hope saw it and said, ” Maia’s going to teach you a lesson

“HL Corporation bought the whole island and developed it for tourism... could the name have

Hope was speechless for a while before continuing, “You don’t have to do that, Maia. Cedric would’ve given the entire island to
you in a heartbeat if you asked for it.” Maia did not
respond to that. Instead, she started reading the pamphlet.

Maia paused for a few seconds when she saw this particular sentence on the pamphlet. She could not quite explain it, but she
got the feeling Cedric was trying to talk sweetly to her through the island. Just like that, her grip on the pamphlet tightened.

shows on Maya Cove. The Firework Festival.
“Also, they’re using fireworks that are both safe for the environment and have a high production value! Can we catch this show
tonight, Maia?”
Maia was distracted, so she had not heard what Hope said.
“Maia?”
“Hmm?”
“Let’s catch the Firework Festival tonight. I think it’s cool. Also, it’s highly recommended!”
Maia stared at the slogans and the promotional pictures before nodding. Hope was having a good time reading the pamphlet.
