Chapter 219
The trio scurried over as Isaac held Patricia's hands.
"Patricia, are you hurt?" His eyes scanned the girls' body. Scott and Stellan were equally shocked as
they asked, "Mommy, Sylvie, are you okay?"
However, Patricia's eyes merely glazed over in response. She had lost her mind when Sylvie rolled
down the stairs. To make things worse, Blake did not allow her to take the girl to the hospital!
As such, she beat the man to a pulp like a mad woman until he could not get up to his feet before she
carried Sylvie downstairs in a rush.
At this moment, the only thing she could think of was to send Sylvie to the hospital. It was not until she
heard a familiar voice that she came back to her senses.
Isaac intended to carry Sylvie, but Patricia held her tightly. He patted Patricia's shoulder in comfort.
"Patricia, it's me, Isaac. I'll hold her and we're gonna take her to the hospital, okay?"

"To the hospital," repeated Patricia while tears trickled down from her eyes. Following that, Isaac held
Sylvie before sprinting all the way to a car.
When Isaac carried the feeble woman, Scott pursed his lips. "We'll look after Sylvie. Take care of our
mother."
Stellan glanced at Patricia solemnly. Based on their observation, only Sylvie was hurt whereas Patricia
had their sister's blood stained on her.
They hurried to the car and headed to the hospital.
Isaac's brows creased tightly at the sight of Sylvie and Patricia's state, which gave him so much pain
that he could barely breathe.
He strode toward his car while ordering, "Seize all those people. I'll settle the scores with them later."
"Yes, President Arnold."
With Patricia in his arms, he entered the car and instructed, "Step on the pedal."
"Yes, President Arnold," responded the driver, who sped up as he was told to. Judging from Isaac's
expression, the driver thought he would not be able to see the light of day if he drove slowly.
"Sylvie." Patricia opened her eyes and looked around for her daughter while Isaac stared at her deeply.
From her misty and bright eyes, he could tell she had been crying the whole night. Her helplessness
rubbed off on him, causing his heart to squeeze.
"Patricia, Sylvie is on the way to the hospital. Don't worry. I'll call over the best medical team for her."
The hospital which Sylvie was sent to was his private hospital that owned the best medical resources.
With that, she would be able to recover for sure.
Patricia clenched onto his shirt tightly while choking on her tears. "You must save Sylvie. Please, I'm
begging you."
The thought of her daughter in that state suffocated her.
It's all my fault. I shouldn't have borrowed from the loanshark or she wouldn't have to experience all
this.

crying. The moment she sobbed, his chest felt so stifling that he could barely breathe.
He patted her shoulder. "Tricia, stop crying. Just take a nap. We'll arrive at the hospital in no time. I'm
here and Sylvie will be fine."
Back in the past, she could only depend on herself and pray to God in such helpless situations.
However, she trusted his words this time as she nodded in response.
Then, she buried her head into his chest and inhaled the familiar scent. She believed that Sylvie would
be safe and sound. With Isaac around, Sylvie will definitely be alright.
It was Patricia's first time putting so much trust in a man, as well as her first time knowing how it felt to
depend on someone.
At the same time, he could feel her body shaking. He had presumed that she would not be cold with
such a thick military coat on her. Still, he wrapped his hands around her reddened feet in an attempt to
warm her up.
Muffling her freezing yet soft skin, he coldly instructed, "Turn up the heater."
