Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband
Chapter 1300: You Always Look Beautiful"It's time to leave," Zhang Jei instructed who had just entered the room.
Inhaling deeply she stood up and turned around. Zhang Jei observed her daughter who was the prettiest lady in her eyes.
"I always knew you would look the prettiest bride," Zhang Jei said as she held her daughter's hand.
"Thank you, mother."
The groom was waiting for her outside along with other family members from both sides.
Wen Zac was standing next to Ming Rusheng who whispered to him, "I am sure my sister is gonna knock you out."
"She knocked me out long back," Wen Zac replied.
Just then the door of the room opened and Wen Zac acted to be calm and held his breath to see the bride. Ming Lan came out of the room, holding a beautiful flower bouquet in her hands. Seeing his pretty bride, the only woman he had loved for so long, for a moment Wen Zac felt like the world had stopped for him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe was wearing an off-shoulder beautiful white mermaid fit wedding dress which fitted perfectly on her delicate figure to take the shape of it. Delicate tulle fabric with the laser-cut design covered her hands from below the shoulder. Her brown wavy hair was left open with a diamond hairpin securing a few hair strands and had transparent blusher hanging to the hairpin that only meant as an accessory that complemented with the dress and not to cover the bride's face.
"Didn't I tell you, she will knock you out," Ming Rusheng, who could not stop admiring his pretty sister, whispered to Wen Zac.
Wen Zac got back to his senses and pretended to be calm as Ming Lan approached him. He didn't know what to say but had to say something as she was his bride and he needed to appreciate her on this special day.
"You look beautiful."
"Thank you."
Elder Ming looked at her with his eyes turned a little moist. He was happy but sad at the same time that his granddaughter was going to someone else's family. When the elder Ming and others were busy talking to his granddaughter, the bride's maid stepped out of the room and took away one man's attention.
Ming Rusheng could not take his eyes off of her who just stepped out of the room, looking as pretty as a fairy. Without a word, he just went to her and stood in front of her while staring into her bright looking eyes.
Though Lu Lian knew she was looking good, she still asked. "How am I….."
Her lips were sealed with a light peck on her lips that stayed for longer and surprised her. It brought everyone's attention to them who didn't know what this young man was up to.
"You impatient man, this is my wedding," Wen Zan commented loud enough for Ming Rusheng to hear it.
"Ming Rusheng parted away but didn't take his eyes off of Lu Lian while he replied to his friend, "And this is my woman."
"Stop showing off," Wen Zac said while others could only smile at the situation.
Lu Lian's face turned red due to what Ming Rusheng had done in front of everyone. Before she could say a word, she heard him say, "You always look beautiful."
Finally, everyone left to go to the wedding hall while the best man and bride's maid followed them. While walking, Ming Rusheng leaned closer to Lu Lian and whispered, "You are looking amazing
Inside the wedding hall, everyone was waiting for the Bride and groom. The emcee announced their arrival and everyone turned to look at them. They could not take their eyes off of them as they walked the aisle.
Elder Lu and Elder Ming were sitting side by side.
"After your granddaughter, it's my Lian's turn," Elder Lu said.
"Don't forget your granddaughter will marry my grandson. So next turn is my grandson," Elder Ming countered.
"We took away your granddaughter," Elder Lu referred to Jiang Yuyan, "Now you will take away mine."
"Don't worry. I will allow you to see her once in a while," Elder Ming teased.
"You should think about whether your grandson will leave her for us to see her. I see him trying to keep her for herself only."
"He is my Grandson. So don't expect less from him."
Just then, the bride and the groom reached the stage as Wen Zac helped her climb those few stairs while holding her hand.
The best man and the bride's maid followed them behind.
Lu Lijun, Lu Feng, Jiang Yang, An Tian, and Noah were sitting together.
"It is so surprising to see who ends up with whom. A few months back, Wen Zac was supposed to be Yuyan's probable match," Jiang Yang commented as they all looked at the stage.
Lu Lijun looked at Jiang Yuyan who was sitting around one of the tables as Lu Bao and other ladies from the Lu Family accompanied her. How much he looked at her, all he could feel was as if she was only going away from him.
Noah, who was sitting next to him, noticed it and patted his hand lightly to console him.
The wedding started as the bride and the groom stood facing each other and the priest was ready to say the wedding vows for them.
Wen Zac looked at her and she looked back at him. Though it was a wedding of convenience for her, Ming Lan could not stop feeling anxious when she stood there to take wedding vows with him. One thing she was sure about was that she would be spending the rest of her life with this man only.
Wen Zac was of course happy to have her as his wife but he didn't show it on his face. When his face was calm, his heart and mind were struggling to accept it as a reality. He never thought this day would come but now it was there like it was all dream.
